For me Playstation vs. Xbox always have been like iPhone vs. Samsung.. We all know that Playstation is more popular and most of the people want it like iPhone, but Xbox keep up with great experience and features like Samsung. Personally I'm from Xbox Team. Great videos as always Andres!
I’ve got them both and like the Xbox more than the ps5 in some ways I’ve had the series X over a year only got the ps5 disc version a few days ago and i like it but it isn’t as much as i thought kinda overhyped the console looks better on the xbox to me and i like the interface more on xbox it’s easier to find things you can customise it more to
I’m watching this video a year later… there is so much that isn’t as relevant: little UI issues mentioned that have been fixed for example. With that said, I absolutely love this video. I’m not a “console war” kind of person but there are many, many people who cannot afford both systems and do have to make that relatively tough decision. I do own both but often find it overwhelming to think about which system to buy my games on, which display to connect them to, diving deep into each ecosystem, etc. I love these kind of videos because they bring be back to the basics and help me realize some things that I may have forgotten about or overlooked. With all of that said, I am a new Xbox customer with this generation. I grew up on Nintendo in my childhood and matured with PlayStation over the years. This generation was the first one where I had my own “big boy” money to spend and decided to jump in with the Series S as a GamePass machine. I have since then upgraded to the Series X and notice myself turning that system on more often lately, mainly due to GamePass. Though I’m not sure how things will pan out if more Xbox titles come to PlayStation in the future.
Gamepass definitely amazing, but one thing to point out if you have a gaming computer - all the xbox games are available on PC. which makes PS5 the logical choice for the Sony exclusives, at the same time PS Plus subscription is also amazing with tons and tons of games to play (Spiderman , Ghost of Tsushima etc etc )
Always love these videos. After playing with an Xbox controller for a couple years with my PC, having a PS4 Pro for years, and then recently getting the PS5. PS5 controller is fantastic. I liked the Xbox controller for comfort more than the PS4 (except I like PS joystick layout more), but the PS5 fixed that and made it more comfortable, along with my preferred joystick layout. I'm a PS guy at heart, but I don't like how PS made it so hard to get the PS5 for the last two years. But they're becoming more common over the last couple months thankfully. And playing the initial learning on PS5 that shows you the controller capabilities is awesome. For exclusive games, PS has the best exclusives. If you have a gaming PC, then you can play any Xbox exclusive (obviously Xbox is a cheaper option than a gaming PC, since they can get expensive fast)
Hey was able to order mine recently thanks to Sonys email registration. Did you sign up for it too? It’s random selection but I got a email about it 1 month ago or so and then two days ago again

Have them both though this is the first PlayStation I've owned since the original (though I briefly had a PS4 Pro for about 2 months before I got the PS5. I wanted to test the Sony waters first). They are both great consoles and run games very similarly. Their respective exclusives make the difference and I still lean more to the XBOX side as I feel their online play, Game Pass, free cloud game storage etc. are superior. Sony does some nice things as well and the two are very similar overall. I don't think anyone buying one over the other would be dissatisfied with their purchase. I also have the Series S that I travel with and it's great as well and I would tell people to not fear they are missing out on something by saving some money and buying one (well you will be wanting more storage at some point). Image quality across them all are very similar and though Digital Foundry can nitpick the heck out of any games image quality the point is you'll be having fun even if you don't have as much grass to look at or the picture isn't razor sharp. Great time to be gaming with all the new consoles, their speed and quality of life improvements over last gen cannot be overstated.
I own both but play the SX way more because of gamepass and I like the SX controller way more because it's more comfortable in my hand, it's also great with emulators.

I prefer the x box controller so I play madden,2K, fifa on there along with halo. Which is the main reason I got x box and Apex from time to time but I loveeeee playing the exclusive games on PS5. It might not feel as comfortable but it actually feels next gen. Love playing Spider-Man and god of war on PS5 and so many others. The answer is just get both lol
I have one of each. Got the series x on launch day and was able to get a PS5 in Feb 2021 from PlayStation direct order, so got lucky. They are both great. I find that trying to play CoD is better on Xbox because it seems like Sonys servers have lag issues. Buuuut PlayStation has the better games. If I can get a game in both consoles I usually will get it on the Xbox since I a series x in the gaming room, as well as a series s in the living room. But honestly, my steam deck has been giving both of my consoles a run for their money, since I can play the same games (mostly) and sit in the living room while my wife watches tv. She doesn’t like that I play video games so being able to be with her in the same room makes it easier for her to cope lol
I own both Xbox series x and ps5 love them both💚💙 Xbox supports dolby vision gaming and majority multi plat games run better with higher resolution and framerates. Xbox has a game changing feature called quick resume and backwards compatiblity with physical discs and FPS boost and auto HDR for games all the way up to the original xbox, which ps5 lacks. Gamepass drops new 1st party and some third party games day 1 and has a solid game catalogue better than ps extra. Controller Ps5 is better and more next gen than xbox but adaptive triggers are mostly gimmick not all games use them and sometimes they get annoying. I disable them when playing shooters online. Xbox controller is more comfortable feeling especially the elite series 2 controller. Only reason I have my PS5 is because of the amazing and awesome 1st party exclusives xbox sadly is missing. Wow! I have both the series s and PS5. I love the PS5 UI and I do think PS Plus should be marketed more, however if you are looking for an experience similar to a gaming PC, go with Xbox. They have keyboard and mouse support for more games, and even have a legit browser, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Literally stopped using my laptop and just browse the internet on my series s lbs. In addition, game pass is a great value and you even get a great value on games with Xbox gold! Ultimately, it’s up to your personal preferences. If you love single player games then go with PS5. Xbox might have a slighter edge on multiplayer triple A titles tho. Hope this helps😁
This is an awesome unbiased comparison video. I am yet to upgrade to current-gen consoles, still on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One X... I plan to finally get the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X in 2023. BUT with Sony now producing their PlayStation first-party games for PC (Microsoft/Xbox been doing it past generations) I see my future gaming on PC as my main (probably even ONLY) gaming machine.

I own both, and the graphics are definitely not better, there no way to tell so don’t know where that came from. If you have the same game, on the series x and ps5, 90% of people I’ve seen on social media, and even myself will say its literally he same, if not the series x has slightly better graphics.
Your production quality is insane you deserve way more of a following. Been team Xbox my whole life basically besides when my parents got me a ps2 as a kid. I now have both consoles, a switch, and a pc. 💀😅
My Series X - I use for GamePass, Multi-platform games and all streaming Media & Apps. My PS5 - I use for Playstation /Sony Exclusives I am very happy that I own both
Great video, first time watcher and I've subscribed. I like how impartial you were with both consoles and that intro was great. I was a PS man my whole life. Had ps1 up to ps4 but decided to get Series X simply because I was bored of PS. Loving the series X, prefer the look and the controller compared to PS5. Series X has some great games on gamepass but PS5 definitely has the upper hand in terms of exclusives imo. However, having triple A titles on day 1 on Gamepass is fantastic. Thinking about buying a PS5 down the line in 23 purely to be able to play the games I cannot get on Xbox. For me, I was done with the console wars when p4 and X1 came out. Realistically the consoles have always been very close in terms of power and there really isn't much between them, even to this day. It's more about the experience of playing with your friends. Currently I only have 4 friends on Xbox (because all my friends have PS5/4) but luckily those 4 friends are usually online lol
Yea it's nice to try out news things, for me I have owned all the PS (except 2) and naturally I would go for the 5 also, the xbox X is incredible indeed, and prettier but I don't really care about the hardware since I will be looking at the tv while playing, unfortunately I never got that used to xbox, and this immersive software on PS5 is really incredible not mentioning the Haptic controller atm there are no others like this one and the PS exclusives end up being on another level comparing to xbox.
Before watching your conclusions... XBox is obviously excellent, but I'm also a PC gamer, and I've never felt like owning one has made sense in that context. Playstation, on the other hand... I've owned every generation at this point, because it always brings something to the table my gaming PC (and Switch) doesn't. It just comes down to personal preference - what games you play, what hardware you just like more, what your friends have (if you're into multiplayer), and what else you already own (if anything). Edit: I should add - I loooooove the PS5 controller. Playing Gran Turismo 7 with it is an amazing experience. The haptic feedback over bumps and gear changes, the tightening of the triggers for braking/accelerating... this alone makes the PS5 version of the game feel like a huge leap over the prior ones.
I have to disagree with the xbox menu. If you look at the original xbox one menu when it was released it is massively different to the one we have today
I have a switch OLED, PS5, and Series X. I only bought the PS5 so I can play Spiderman and Miles Morales. My PS5 is only for the exclusives I can only play on there. If a game is offered on both consoles then I would rather get it on my Xbox. At the end of the day, it is all about preferences. Happy gaming y'all!
I got a Steam Deck and Series X. Best of both worlds. Play Sony exclusives and emulation on the Steam Deck and MS exclusives and Gamepass on the Series X.
I can’t decide which one to get. I can only chose one. I like ps exclusives but i like xbox especially the controller eventhough the durability of the bumpers and d-pad is not great. I still don’t u deratand why is gamepass better than ps plus especially now in 2023 i’ve seen ps plus has ALOT of great games especially the AAA titles. My heart says xbox but brain says ps5
Xbox will always be my first option, even though I was raised with the PS1, PS2 and PS3. Great comparison, but what about xbox series s vs series x? Is the Series S a good option for someone who likes to play, but can't spend that much on a console?
I upgraded from a Xbox one x to a series s, and it’s a big difference, only downside is the storage, you could get the series s on sale right now to since it’s the holidays
I had all Playstation Consoles until PS4, than I switched to Xbox Series S and it was the best decission. The Game Pass is so cheap, the console is fast, Quick Resume is king and I played and enjoyed so much games through Game Pass.
@@scottd7222 lol that is spoken like a person that doesn't have a Series X/S. For a PS5, you'd have to pay $500 USD + $70 USD for a AAA game ( those games made by big studios with big budgets like Call Of Duty ). That's $570 USD without taking into account other stuff like a second controller or a headset. Meanwhile, the Xbox Series S goes for $300 USD + $15 USD per month for Game Pass, which includes access to 300+ games for no extra charge. Lets say you pay for Gamepass every month for a year, you'll pay $480 USD for the console and 300+ games. With the PS5, you pay $570 USD for the console and ONE game.
My girlfriend bought me the Xbox Series X last Christmas and I have no complaints a year later. With Game Pass, you have a giant library to help you kill time between the triple A titles.
In Australia, games on the xbox store are cheaper than psn more often than not. I have both consoles and prefer the ps5 due to the exclusives but the xbox store and game pass are far superior, in Australia anyway.
Normally always only getting one of the 2 options, either the PS or the Xbox. But this time i saved up for both and I havent been happier in my "console life" than now. Get the playstation exclusive games which are absolutely amazing and love the controller so much. Top quality. And the Series X provides a different experience as well, gamepass is awesome. Also a few games only for xbox so get those as well. Overall the machinery is pretty much the same, some games though a certain console can run a bit better, but it changes a lot. Series X is making ZERO noise, like you wont notice any noise when its on or playing which is very impressive, the PS5 can be a a bit noisier, but that nooothing compared to past consoles. Still almost no noise. Both amazing consoles, and definitely NEXT gen is happening, and can feel with the latest releases, even seeing remasters looking amazing is special for the nostalgia playing games years ago, to go through them again in beautiful graphics and fps. Playing on the LG C2, and gotta admit thats a legit amazing gaming tv. Looks spectacular. OLEDS are wild. Cant wait for what 2023 brings, and the years after. Sucks that its so difficult for people to get those PS5's, even the Series X's in some places. For me though, Series X for the hardcore gaming, PS5 for the people who enjoys "quality feeling". Hope everyone gets what they wish for come christmas 2022, and many more people can experience true next gen.
I prefer Xbox keep using controller battery. I bought rechargeable and whenever it dies I just swap them out and keep using it wireless rather than having to use a cable for a while.
but both if ya can series x for tactical and shooters with the elite 2 controller which is by far the best controller and ps for there exclusive story games
Have both, love both. I play more Xbox though. I will say I absolutely hate the look of the PS5 It’s so big and awkward, the controller is definitely more techy but in competitive gameplay and FPS the Xbox controller feels much nicer in hand
As a person who desperately wants to play Spider Man, Horizon Forbidden West and God of War, but is also a big fan of Forza Horizon and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, I'm dead ass confused on which console to buy Dear God, please help!
I'm gonna go for both or I dunno man I've been on the Team Xbox since I was 15 playing Gears of war Original I'm 23 now I've had the one S and one x past recently years but I've got a monitor and im thinking about getting a 8ktv soon....I'm thinking about getting the series S for the monitor and series x for the TV or just the ps5 digital for the monitor and series x for the tv🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️but great video my guy👍👍
The only reason for me to buy the PlayStation is because I’ve bought online games on it, hardware and performance wise the Xbox just wins. Barely play exclusives as upcoming new exclusives are becoming disappointing. Already played old exclusives. Xbox really does well and is so aesthetic and simple.
Series X for the casual gamer that wants to utilize there system as a multimedia device that has streaming subscriptions. PS5 for more serious gamers who closely follow the lore of sonys many single player narrative games

My PS5 - I use for Playstation /Sony Exclusives
I am very happy that I own both
Ps5 bundle with Gow Ragnarok and extra black controller, disc version. 929 cad free shipping. I am glad.

I have a gaming mouse to recommend. The Fantech Helios XD5 is the best gaming mouse I've ever tried before
Awesome video bro. I have a PS5 at the moment. But if it wasn’t for the exclusives like god of war and Spider-Man I’d 100% go for an xbox
Same here
Before watching your conclusions...
I have to say that Y’all’s introduction was incredible ma guy.
They're both so good, it's honestly preference and what your friends use! Personally, team Xbox💚
Thanks so much!
Just wandering into the world of gaming for the first time.
Amazing video but 8:44 is plain wrong, the Xbox UI has had a large gradual change in UI since 2013 launch, just compare the two.
I have to disagree with the xbox menu. If you look at the original xbox one menu when it was released it is massively different to the one we have today
Great cinematic section :)
Nice vid! So many reflections on your TV. You definitely should fix it)
very much dislike when people say your have to chose xbox or playstation, I got the xbox sx and playstation opening day
This is a very well made video. Would you mind sharing what kind of cameras you use?
Great comparison! Can you provide a link for your TV console and center table? They look amazing.
Yeah. I was looking for that tv link too!!
That tv looks insanely good and bezel-less
I can’t decide which one to get. I can only chose one. I like ps exclusives but i like xbox especially the controller eventhough the durability of the bumpers and d-pad is not great. I still don’t u deratand why is gamepass better than ps plus especially now in 2023 i’ve seen ps plus has ALOT of great games especially the AAA titles. My heart says xbox but brain says ps5
Same here... which one did you get?
Got both, and both are amazing! Xbox for Gamepass and Playstation for exclusives.
You never disappoint 🙌🏾🙌🏾
I appreciate it a lot!!
Thats what she said
Xbox will always be my first option, even though I was raised with the PS1, PS2 and PS3.
@@ilm91 lol that is spoken like a person that doesn't have a ps5. Ps5 is much better and has way more games and the controller is phenomenal
@@ilm91 I have a SX and PS5 and yeah the SX is better IMO GP is great and much better than PS Plus and the controller just feels better in my hands
Still dying to get a full tour of the studio you showed in the beginning of the video
haha soon soon!
W video my guy I’m buying the XBOX only because all of my games and stuff are on Xbox. I don’t think I have the time to switch over to PS5.
Amazing review, thank you for sharing it!
Please move your ps5. There’s no air flow there and it’s going to end up choking in that badly placed spot.
nice work man. thanks
Great video, hard to find someone who is not on one side or the other.
haha I try! I really love both tho
you could maybe increase the sound next video?
loved the opening, sub'ed!
Need a tour of your place man, looks great.
I'm so happy that I own both💚💙!!
Where is the coffee table from
i own all the current consoles and the xbox controller is way comfortable to use. but ps5 wins on graphics i love how the games looks in the ps5.
The graphics are nearly identical for both consoles I can’t tell any real
Difference.
@@nickwebb9937 For real but Ps5 has better games hands down!
My girlfriend bought me the Xbox Series X last Christmas and I have no complaints a year later. With Game Pass, you have a giant library to help you kill time between the triple A titles.
What tv-shelf do you use-looks Great btw.
I think having both consoles and an oled tv is a perfect match. No hassle and toxicity of console wars
@@abhaskumarpalo3165 agreed mate, loving it!
@@lukasrlleattermann7043 yup bro
I prefer Xbox keep using controller battery. I bought rechargeable and whenever it dies I just swap them out and keep using it wireless rather than having to use a cable for a while.
That is a lovely intro video
Bro what games u playing on the Xbox series x and PlayStation 5 and your videos are awesome
Can you please tell me where did you get the tv stand and coffee table from please?
what camera you use for the video, btw nice video?
Love your videos man. Your apartment is really nice. Could you do an apartment tour
Thank you for the video. What's the media desk (cabinet) that's housing the consoles? Thabk you for all your content?
Thank you! And its a japandi collection I got from Mobilia
Where did you get the coffee table and cabinet that's under the tv?
but both if ya can series x for tactical and shooters with the elite 2 controller which is by far the best controller and ps for there exclusive story games
bro always be making the quality videos
Why anyone would have white walls and white furniture is beyond me. It's gotta be hard to keep clean.
What TV are you using?
Bro if you want the ps5 to look better get some dbrand plates, believe me its gonna look better then xbox... btw i m for playstation team
BOTH. You should buy and use both.
as always love hearing ur voice ❤️
Not sure that evaluating the unboxing experience should affect the overall review.
Have both, love both. I play more Xbox though. I will say I absolutely hate the look of the PS5 It’s so big and awkward, the controller is definitely more techy but in competitive gameplay and FPS the Xbox controller feels much nicer in hand
@andres new subscriber 😀. Love your content and setups. Any chance you can tell us what your coffee table is looks amazing please 😍
Off topic thats a nice entertainment stand. What brand is it?
As a person who desperately wants to play Spider Man, Horizon Forbidden West and God of War, but is also a big fan of Forza Horizon and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, I'm dead ass confused on which console to buy
Dear God, please help!
I'm gonna go for both or I dunno man I've been on the Team Xbox since I was 15 playing Gears of war Original I'm 23 now I've had the one S and one x past recently years but I've got a monitor and im thinking about getting a 8ktv soon....I'm thinking about getting the series S for the monitor and series x for the TV or just the ps5 digital for the monitor and series x for the tv🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️but great video my guy👍👍
bro where did you get the tv console (stand ) from ?
hmm interesting video man. im waiting for more! keep it up
The only reason for me to buy the PlayStation is because I’ve bought online games on it, hardware and performance wise the Xbox just wins. Barely play exclusives as upcoming new exclusives are becoming disappointing. Already played old exclusives. Xbox really does well and is so aesthetic and simple.
are you using 120 fps and hdmi 2.1 tv which model?
Series X for the casual gamer that wants to utilize there system as a multimedia device that has streaming subscriptions. PS5 for more serious gamers who closely follow the lore of sonys many single player narrative games
Wtf Trash comment
What’s the TV Stand that you have?
Can you send a link for that tv stand? Thank you.
you know you can get these plates for the ps5 to make it match your setup/Livingroom.
How do you get your videos to look like that ? Is it called color grading or something like that ?
I have both consoles, but i gotta be honest i play mostly on the ps5. As of now i only keep the series x, cause of gta4 and halo mcc.
can't wait for the rs6 vid !!
What ever i want ,I always have my console to go, I don’t care what other have to say, i like one more than the other.
PC and a PS5 is the gamer way
Men love your honest review do giveaway of just the ps5 console for me
