Morasten - Po nocích (Milan Hrabal) Official video

A video and music made by Morasten on the poem Po nocích written by Milan Hrabal.
Footages are taken in different places in Ústí nad Labem, Pilsen, Prague, and Liběchov. The whole piece is a reflection of my relation to the after-war history and current shape of landscape I have grown in, as well as symbolic dealing with personal "ghosts".
I made the video with help of my dear friend Iva Zmrzka Lukašáková.
My translation of the poem:
AT NIGHTS
The moment I fall asleep
deads are jiggling me
without patiency
as if the death was standing behind their back
as if they haven't become adults yet
adults who own the world
Why should we die after all?
