Fun-fact: The Wells Fargo coach had a security agent sit next to the driver always carrying a shotgun.
Hence the expression, “Riding shotgun.”
They even manufactured their own coach guns.
Back when Konami was a monster of a games company and made the best Western themed games with the other being Sunset Riders.
Sunset Riders was awesome!
At 7:58, when the caravan explodes, the bad guy gets out flying like Superman.
I love that! Same with the old eyepatch wearing pilot trying to hijack the plane in the previous game.
"Drop your weapons!" = "Drop them irons!"
"Freeze!" = "Hold up, friend!"
"Put your hands up!" = "Reach for the sky, bad guys!"

i've noticed that on Kega fusion, the sega cd port has a slower aim.
@@AllGamingStarred It's not too bad if you're using the gamepad on the real hardware. The justifier gun is absolutely the best way though.
did u know about the level select and blood code on sega cd it was hard to do but added more extra to the game
@@JunkerDC Yeah I've done it on my cd version. Wish the CD of part 1 had that too.
I Had the cartridge version, it was still pretty good. At least I remember having a lot of fun in 2 player mode.
SPOILER ALERT: the final boss of the game is that one guy in the corner of the screen you can never hit because light guns always fuck up in the corners XD

I saw this game at a burger place my wife and I ate at in a small town called Oakville in Washington. Looked like absolute crap due to age but you it still ran like a champ. 25 cents per player
The AWOL Cannoneer is a Confederate Army Soldier due to his uniform.

Konami screwed up the PlayStation port. The enemies pop out too fast. The arcade is the best way to play!
The 3rd boss where the 3 guys yell "when we shoot starting shooting" was very difficult because the person to draw first changes randomly.

Gotta give it to Konami for taking the original and adding features. The quick/draw portion of the game was a nice feature but DANG was it designed to drain your quarters.
I always sing “Bad Company” during the intro.
This would be amazing to play on Nintendo switch, using a single joy-con controller.

My sister sent me this video on fb messager 4 days before she passed away unexpectedly, we used to play this as kids on sega genesis and we couldn't find this game for years because we didn't know the name, she finally found it.. I didn't reply to her message in time it sucks alot I didn't reply.

The Japanese market title was "Lethal Enforcers II: The Western". I kind of think that sets up expectations for the theme a little better, personally.
This hits me right in the childhood. I think the highest rank I got was U.S Marshall.

I've just played this using MAME. Unfortunately there seems no way to reload the gun. Any solutions?
It makes me wonder if the .50 Sharp's power in the game was to go through whatever you shot at, so you could hit more than one target at once, even if they were behind cover.
It certainly could and still can in real life.

If you're using MAME and the mouse to aim, drag to the extreme left of the screen and click to reload.
It's a pain in the butt for sure, definitely quicker (and easier) to go with unlimited ammo.
In any case, great walk-through of a classic shooter!
