I can't say who took the torch. But the Byb sound started to take a turn and, keep in mind, Bruce was gone by then. Plus, I've heard some of the equipment changed and slightly altered the iconic BYB sound that we instantly knew when we heard it. Lastly, LJ was rockin' on the mic and helped keep Back afloat.....until he eventually left. Overall though, their current sound pales in comparison to what they used to play in the '90s/early 2000s, although they still crank.
