    Watching from Canada, this is the first time I've found a RUclips golf channel where the player actually plays similarly to myself. Very nice video and you kept it together the whole round, with some help from a solid short game. Thumbs up!

      @@AverageEverydayGolfer I find sometimes the camera helps me concentrate and others it's a pain in the backside. Have fun, don't push yourself too hard. Find a way of playing club comps, golf for fun and fit in the videos. It's a balancing act to keep you sane! I like to have a month in the can to keep the pressure off. 4 or 5 videos. When I have that cushion I am more relaxed.
      Now I have the excitement of dropping off some laundry. The fun I have on holiday!

    • @AverageEverydayGolfer

      Yes the 9th green was in top condition that day even though at time of recording we were still in winter golf
      Fair play to the greenkeepers, they've done a great job keeping the course playable all through winter!

    Enjoyable video. You had a lot of good shots, and just made some careless shots. But that’s ok, your play isn’t bad at all, and can easily see you lowering the handicap significantly with some care and coaching. But, it looks like you’re having fun, great attitude, and improved scores are a given. This was a nice video, glad you uploaded it. Cheers buddy, from across the pond.

    You might want to try teeing off with your 3 wood or maybe even a 5 wood instead of going with the driver, especially on the short par 4’s. I enjoy watching a normal guy golfing, good video.

    • @AverageEverydayGolfer
      @AverageEverydayGolfer  2 года назад +1

      Hi Larry, yes I used to hit a 3-hybrid off the tee but at the time of recording I had only bought the driver a couple weeks beforehand so wanted to get the practice in 😃

    When you slice you are being lazy about the left arm remaining straight. Well that's what it looks like from here. But then I don't know anything. I bend my arm when I intentionally want a slice.

    How do you play empty courses by yourself? Where I live courses are always packed and you are forced to play with a 3 people and take 5 hours to complete a round because of slow players. If I had a course to myself I'd play way more often

    • @AverageEverydayGolfer
      @AverageEverydayGolfer  2 года назад +1

      Hi Chaplin, when recording I always try to pick a time that the courses are quiet I.e. weekday mornings or afternoons.
      At weekends and weeknights during the summer the courses are very busy so I wouldn't even think about recording then

    • @AverageEverydayGolfer
      @AverageEverydayGolfer  2 года назад +1

      Hi Jake, at time of recording it was winter golf (think I said in the intro) so they move all the tees forward which is common practice in this part of the world.

    Your swing is Horrorific hahahahah y laughed so much sorry bro. You are swinging with your arms and rotate the body like a cilinder, like a doll 🤣. Dont do that, rotate the hips and tilt your body down to up in the backswing, then rotate your hips back to foward and your club will be released so easily, you dont need to use your arms, let yor body move your arms, no let your arms leading your body
