I learned many years ago to do the French drop and the English drop.
But never learned the classic palm as my hands were too small and struggled to retain the coin.
Your version is very good and I shall try again as I was much younger when I was learning from magic books before the Internet was a thing.
Thank you for all the work you put into sharing this knowledge and have a wonderful weekend my magician friend 🙌

Interesting, I’ve never actually heard of an English drop! Haha. I’ll have to look that up actually. And yeah, so many beginning books teach the Classic Palm with nowhere to really go with it, even if you learn it. I always knew how to do it, but I wasn’t great at it because there was no real way to use it. I think Chris Capehart and maybe Al Schneider (as I mention in the video) may have been where I first saw the Classic Palm being used in this way. I didn’t really like it at first, until you realize that it worked well for them, because laymen do not imagine that you can palm a coin like that, or rather, when the Classic Palm is done right, it can be powerful, as the hand appears empty to the audience, as much as if you were to show both sides (the mind almost has them believe you’ve shown the whole hand empty when you haven’t). Anyways, you’re welcome and glad you liked and got some value and thank you for the kind words! Enjoy your weekend as well magician friend!
