Thanks for sharing. I particularly found it interesting to see your thought process as you try to decide where to pitch the tent. I think I will be glad of some of that insight next month as I will probably end up doing a little bit of wild camping in France, but having only once done it before the thought is still a little daunting! Love these derrycarne videos DC . I havnt been to derrycarne since before the new motorways were built . My fathers best friend passed away in january who lived in rooskey for 40+ years . He was a real legend and known well around the village . Its been really great seeing updates of how derrycarne is looking now. It sure is a magical place . It was a great spot for bream fishing before the zebra mussel spread and took over alot of the river shannons food sources that the fish fed on . The forest and stone pier brought alot of old memorys back to me . Thanks for another great docu of the area .

What absolutely gorgeous scenery! 😍 I feel peaceful just looking at it through the screen. Can only imagine how lovely it'd be to experience it firsthand. The weather looks pretty perfect, too. Also: I'm sitting here eating my lunch and wishing it was one of those potato pancakes you mentioned...they sound yum! (That's extra incentive for me to get over there, haha)
The weather was definitely appreciated that day and yes boxty is so good. I didn’t even know what it was myself until a few years ago !

There were quite a few dogs there early this morning. One of them was mad to catch a pine Martin that kept jumping out on the trail 🤣
