Hi guys! My husband just finished a day of Rally Obedience tournament and Toki, our miniature poodle, qualified twice! One more qualification and they get to advance to the Master level! As mentioned before, my husband has never trained a dog before and Toki has been one of the most aware dog we've ever raised. So needless to say, I am extremely proud of both of them! 🐩
😊 I agree, I never thought they would even get to this level! Toki is hyper aware of his surroundings - he stops and refuses to walk forward when he sees another dog coming at the park. hahaha! So, to even get to this level (now in Master Class), it's a miracle! 🦮🥳🎉
I’m so proud of Toki! He is coming along…. He is the sweetest dog but has always been hyper aware of his surroundings, so the progression of rally obedience especially in tournament environment is tremendous! ❤️
Great job, Toki! And your "daddy" did also well. You are a fine team! On Twitter there is a poodle Teddy, very much like Toki. He does agility. He complains that he does well, but his daddy doesn't run fast enough. 🤣😂🐩👍
Thank you! I used to do agility with Boomer, my senior apricot miniature poodle, and I think I held him back too! 😂😂😂. My husband is thinking of doing barn hunt with Toki at a later time since we think Toki has incredibly sensitive nose. ❤️
You should it with your Boomer as he gets older! The next day morning, Toki qualified one more time and received his title ribbon in Excellent level. So, that afternoon, he received his first qualification in Master level. I'm not sure exactly how they can get Master level title, but I know that it'll take much longer. 🤞
