Is it possible to use different snare and kick configurations with the pedals? I currently use a 13 inch piccolo snare and 18 inch bass drum that I love the sound from.
Hi Jacob, At 12" the snare is pretty tight in there. But a special 13" snare might fit if the Throw and Butt were someone curtailed. Do you have a make/model for the snare you like? We do sell the FootDrum without the Bass/Snare (lesser those prices listed on our website) but again, things are tightly combined for compact and best sound for its size. www.footdrums.com/about-footdrum/
I think a lot of it is about feeling it out. Kind of like asking how do you know how to dance if you have never danced before. Sure there are lots of moves you can learn out there, but do whatever sounds right. Unlike a guitar with 16 frets and 6 strings played with 10 fingers and 2 hands, 6 to 12 pedals are all you need to think about.

Hi Trevell! All are sticks are 5B Hickory made for us by Vic Firth. Some sticks are 9" or 12", depending on its use in the FootDrum. All the pedals are magnetic sprung with adjustable spring strength. The stick grip is done by two poly pads (fingers) that are also adjustable so that the stick is free to resonant and "flick" its intended target with the similar feel of a drummer's hand. The had will always win in a drum off, but if the goal to hit steady beats with some flourish, the FootDrum in a blind sound test with a simple drum kit will fool most....
This is my biggest dream to have this battery, but unfortunately in my country, the dollar would be very expensive and they charge 100% taxes, here it would be an average of 2,300 dollars converting it would be 12,650 in our currency plus taxes would be 25,300 with our salary than 1,200, it's very difficult.
