I never could play drums, but I could tap my foot. Ingenious!
What an incredible piece of precious engineering!
Thanks Luke! It is a constantly evolving endeavor to make the best of what musicians want out of a tool like this.
Amazingly cool.
This is game changing technology
I haven’t bought one yet. Only just discovered you on a JJ Grey video and don’t have the funding for that at this time. I. Also an engineer with a high appreciation for good design and quality componentry, and that’s what I see here. Nice work.
Question, can a 6 or a 9 pedal be upgraded? How far out is a build, or do you have stock?
God bless You Pete, it is outstanding cool thing!
Thanks Erop!
I appreciate that alot of design and thought has gone into these kits. But it seems to me that the sort of soloist who would need it would probably not have 3 plus grand to drop on one.
You’d be surprised
Really looking forward to getting one Pete. I’ve tried to make sense of the snare drag and these videos further confuse me with demonstrations. When you show it here it releases and hits singularly. Other videos it has a “bounce.” I would “love” to be able to have it do a singular hit so I can have it release and hit the snare after I’ve hit with the primary snare pedal. Is it adjustable to get more bounce or something?
This will be huge for my performances can’t wait man.
Yes, the bounce in controlled by sliding it forward or back in the stick grip(s). It shifts the weight and momentum after effect sound form staccato single hit ("bury the beater") than balanced weight with dribble bounces. It also really depends on how your foot interacts with the pedal as in touch and speed.... We will make a more in-depth video and link it in the Description above.
That is so cool. You people are on drugs...no wait, that's me!
