My father worked in a company they made those cages inside and now the bears are more friendly than they used to be before also the sign for snakes is most for summer bcs when winter is here in Kosovo they go underground to hide from the cold ( Glad you guys are here and visiting kosovo as a small country )
I am kosovo-albanian but i live in Germany and it is always amazing to see Kosovo from a tourists perspective. Didn´t know about the sanctuary either. What an amazing project this is! Hopefully gonna give it a visit next year. Anyways, keep up the good content. I really enjoy watching these Kosovo related videos. Definitely helps me cope with home sickness.
The bears have more than enough space and space better than what I've seen in some zoos in other countries. Very good work 👍. This park is a good example of how to treat bears that are traumatized.

i cant belive this man is in T-SHIRT in decembery in Kosovo, in this time i wear pijamas underwear and winter jacket and still i have cold, its insane.
It was actually a german NGO which built this and saved the bears from Bars and Zoos across Kosovo. Owners even sold their bears and killed them before the NGO could arrive and take the bears from them.
It was very nice visiting the zoo, those bears are looking so great and cuddly! My neighbors spotted black mama bear in our backyard, am little bit frightened 😱 take care guys🥰

The bears are safer there then in the wild you guys are amazing explaining everything cuz kosovo doesn't have much big wild mountains that bears can stay away from people and maybe that's why bears are kept there for safety reasons

In general bears are very respected amongst the people of Kosovo, it’s sad that we have such little area for these bears to reside in, there are bears in the wild but it wouldn’t be safe to release these like you said, they’re domesticated and we probably don’t want to release any more bears given our population density.
