Looks like we did everything but score. They look a good side- don’t know how they compare to other L1 teams but clearly a step up from the teams we faced in L2 last season.
Looking better, even with new players it looks like we are more structured not just pinging balls all over just for it to arrive to no one. Let’s see how the league pans out with the dodgey refs and Lino’s .
Do you know something he’s getting older and wiser. I thought last season crock, boring and predictable. The only thing I think he needs to work on is his dynamic bit of his voice. Says the right things but people jump on is his monotone voice. Stick it to them Barnsley will be the one , McAtee to watch he’s there to prove a point. Lazy but he’ll make a stray ball a strike. Bit like my boy child I take the mic, technically takes all on, doesn’t run far but top scorer, picks it and bangs it in the onion bag.

Grimsby had loads off chances in this game but couldn't score they will be a good side in League 2 UTM
