    thanks this helped me a lot! I'm studying for my board exams.. and my professor is just reading from the ppt, so it's really hard to understand positioning.

    I am still getting confused with projection and position. I am confusing them .

      Projection is the path your beam takes. The surface the beam hits first and then the surface it exits. PA it enters the posterior surface and exits the anterior surface of the body. Position is simply the position the patient is in! Are they upright or recumbent, lateral, or in an oblique degree etc.
