@@secondstudiopod in Mauritius! Will do for sure, i have questions like if you get an architect from abroad to to go up to construction documents can they pass that on to a local architech to adapt and carry on in the local market?

@@heteshjoosery8542 Cool. Nearly all of the time the Design Architect (the one abroad) will NOT be the one to produce the actual CDs. This is for technical reasons (the local architect will know local construction methods, material availability, etc better) and for liability and scope of responsibility. The local architect create the CDs and perform CA (construction administration), they'd also get the necessary approvals (eg permits). Most often, the drawing set that the Design Architect 'gives' to the local architect would be the 'Design Development' phase drawing set, or somehwere around there. The level of the drawings and how collaborative the CDs are varies from project to project, office to office. But either way, you'll want to keep on your Design Architect throughout the entire process.
For the CDs: the local architect will create the CDs, and then the Design Architect will review them for design purposes. The two would go back and forth as needed to make revisions and etc.
Same applies to CA: the Design Architect would still be involved.

Thank you so much for this Gold Information.
Its the most complete summary of the Design and Construction Process.
It is possible to have a Guide about how Architects charge for the services..
