When you hear the respect and the way that they speak to their parents, you can just tell that they were raised the right way. There's no doubt that good things start at home.
😪😭could not agree more. That's the biggest thing I took away from this. Having a baby girl coming in about 10 weeks and I just cant wait to be an amazing parent to her 🙏🏻🙏🏻god bless these wonderful parents who stuck with their kids all the way through.
Exactly. And one of these chicks out here would not look at him twice because of that. Sad cause they missing out on a real man. Smh I loved when he started cracking up and the. Said “ I don't know how to hahaha you are from a BUM FAR FROM IT
I did not play football, I played golf. I walked on the team, after being what I thought was an elite player, no offers. Junior year I was offered a full ride and it is the 5th greatest day of my life to this point. I'm a happily married man with 3 beautiful kids now, so before them, it was by far the greatest day of my life. It makes me so happy to see these guys get the respect they deserve.
What a humble and respectable young man in the first clip. His mother should be incredibly proud because she has raised an amazing son. God bless both of them. From a guy who has never met you and most likely never will, way to go buddy! Well deserved!
The kid from Texas Tech who’s mama stared singing praise of joy right onbthr phone 💙❤️. Made me feel like I kinda wanted to laugh & cry at the same time. Praise god for them 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
That isn’t about sports. This is about life after sports and it is amazing! God bless these coaches for following through and realizing these kids futures!
...The way I felt when my "boy" called me after getting in to NROTC. I cried. He's a full-fledged, steely-eyed surface warfare, 3 a.m., in a storm, enemy off the port bow, sir, officer, now!
Love this for these young men and their parents. But the Texas Tech mom who started singing praise to The Lord… I can imagine all of the days and nights she spent praying for her baby. That’s the good stuff.
02/03/2024 - I watched this and cried so much. Those parents put in their work and then their kids took that work and put in theirs. God Bless you all.
Yes ma’am, yes sir…great respectful young men raised by a momma or a momma and daddy…made no difference as they were loved, encouraged, taught how to treat others and how to work for what you want out of life. Getting a full athletic scholarship isn’t easy. These young men worked incredible hard on the field but also have to keep their grades up. Thanks for putting this video together and sharing it.
With all the Racism conflicts going on around the world, it’s absolutely awesome to see a team of multi colours come together to congratulate one of their team members ! These guys are an inspiration to all that come after them.
Most of the world is like this. Average everyday people dont worry about color. The internet filters it so that the hate is all you see. People need to start making good deeds popular and cool instead of ignorance and hate. California and NY videos make the rest of the world look bad because those are the only places making race a problem.
@Iam thetruth im before the internet and have lived all over the place from Florida qnd Missouri to Syracuse NY and Canada. The only people complaining about race are people that have the luxury and time to complain. Working people with goals and ambition aren't sitting online scanning racist videos all day. Suburban women and old men are. Thats why fb is going to be obsolete soon enough because its all old people spreading hate and politics not realizing nobody cares about that anymore.
@Iam thetruth there were a lot of things that people messed up while in the learning process but over time things get fixed and the truth comes out. Yeah the country started off by greedy selfish old men and still continues today because we allow it but to let something as small as color distract both sides from progress is petty and not worth the time or effort when it could be used toward cutting off the thieves making both sides into slaves that can't see their cage. The system is fucking both sides and for either one to point fingers at the other shows that they dont have the real goal in sight and thats elegantly why we are so easily fooled and controlled by a little bit of money. When humans reach a certain level of comfortability they start searching for anything to be worried or stressed out about and usually its petty things before the important things because they've become spoiled and bored. Someone that is working 2 jobs stressing to pay bills and put kids thru school aren't walking around all day looking for someone to lecture or yell at in Grocery stores or worrying about what everyone else is doing. Entitled well off people sit and stare at everyone else's movements waiting for an opportunity for control. Its the same as the religious ones bible thumping you until you hate it.
Amazing Child who respect the meaning and family! I wish to have a child like this strong Young man who understand the value of MOTHER!! Huge respect from me single mom of 2.... Congratulations!
Videos like this gave me so many "what ifs". Before, I was aspiring to become a soccer player. But I was easily discouraged and I lack the grit and persistence that these guys have. I realized that I was so afraid to be considered a "bum" that I eventually become one in life simply because I have so many excuses.
If I ever have a son I want him to try at least one sport he don't gotta play it in college he dont gotta be a professional but I just want him to try one so he can see what brotherhood is really about I remember when I used to play football and It was the most fun I've had in my life and im still close to some of my teammates till this day and we all still got each other back its really a blessing
To bad the world doesn't share the good things. Hate covers all the good in the world and hopefully the new generation can change what's considered popular and cool.
I am that first kid. Not really, but similar story. I played soccer, and didnt wind up at a big school. Damn sure was an expensive school tho lol. Got my scholarship after 2 years and man did it make my mom happy. Lol she still worked 2 jobs til i graduated though, just so we'd have a little extra for once. Moms just don't understand slowing down when it comes to providing for their babies.
Ohio State coach Ryan Day has said that all players at OSU are going to get $100,000 in NIL money. So, it seems like, if a walk-on becomes a scholarship player, he will also get $100k/yr.
From what I understand Usually people get recruited to play on teams and walks on just show up for try outs and regardless of there previous credentials or experience. Not a lot of “walks on” do what these guys can do.

The dude that got the scholar ship from Rhode Island who came up and hugged him that’s a true brother
If you’re talking about the player, it’s Fatts Russell (now plays for UMD). The older white guy is Thorr Bjorn the AD.
Not only a brother, but a leader!
Fatts was amazing at URI. Used to love watching him
I said the same thing after I just watched it. Glad someone else seen that.🫡

That first one had me misty eyed right out the gate. What a wonderful family unit, mother and son. So much respect.
Got me cryin in my kitchen fam
Just so Azziz knows. Being homeless because you are paying for school and you are working hard for your dreams, YOU ARE NOT A BUM.
Speaking real truth

"You gotta show them that they made a very wise decision. I'm very proud of you." So wholesome
Every man’s dream to hear this from their father
