Wonderful Norman. Of course I’ve seen the individual reviews but great to see them all put together. So classy .. and uniquely you! I don’t like divers but the Serica looks so cool. I love the German watches too. Had a Nomos and sold it because just couldn’t handle the lugs. But so beautiful. You could probably put the Nomos and Stowa in a shadow box on the wall such that you could stare at the case backs all day long!!! 😅☺️☺️
Thank you so much! Yeah the Nomos lugs are definitely decisive. Soo true re:lightbox. That's a cool idea. I should build some boutique style light boxes to put some watches in! 🍸🍸
Lovely collection, you have me wanting to rebuy my Nomos watches. German watches are very underated, the UG and Spaceview are always on my shopping list, like everything you have. Great taste!
Great watches! This has convinced me to get a tank watch, that longines tank was very very cool, and the first two watches as well, so beautiful, I am getting something similar to those, a little larger, white dial version of orient bambino with the small running seconds subdial, at least I have it on my hit list. The diver looked amazing, most too small for my liking but gorgeous watches friend!
It really does! Oh! Yeah a Flieger would be great. I've never owned one. Probably ought to get one at some point. I'll have to keep my eyes open for when you get one.
I have 47 watches right now. Yes, I am really crazy. :D It all started with a totally overpriced Maurice Lacroix Eliros quartz watch. It bothered me in many ways. So I started looking for the perfect watch for me me myself and I. :D Over time I noticed that I will never find THE perfect watch. I tried divers, dress watches, every kinda watch. I really love many of them. But when it comes to wrist time… it’s a Damasko DS 30. Followed by a Sinn 556 A. And then a cheap Seiko 5. Funny, isn’t it? They are not too big, good looking and legible at day and night. So those watches rotate on my wrist and my two watch winders. That is for now, my primary watch collection. P.S.: I really love the look of your Serica. What a beauty! I may get me one too. Hmmmm…. 🍺🍸🍸🍭
The point that you mentioned about the appropriate strap for the Junghans watch was very accurate. I have the exact same watch and had not thought of it. I can see that it looks much more beautiful on that lizard strap that you have put on it, compared to when it has its original strap. Do you have any purchasing link for that lizard strap?
It MIGHT have been from Esslinger. I was searching for a genuine lizard strap 18x14mm: www.esslinger.com/hadley-roma-18mm-genuine-lizard-black-watch-strap-6-3-4-inch-length/ DeBeer also has one, it looks padded though: debeerwatchbands.com/lizard-watch-band/ The Hadley Roma def looks more like mine, except mine has no branding on it - GUESSING Hadley would have put their name on it.
Yes, other than its buckle, it looks like yours. The main point was the dimension info, which you gave to me (18x14). I can also do some search for this dimension to see what I can find. Yes, generally, lizard ones seem to have a more delicate design.
Having a watch channel kind of justifies owning so many watches - I got to 40-50 watches and realised I had a problem - sold them all and currently down to 4 - very seriously considering selling them all (bar 1 sentimental piece) and buying the Grand Seiko I always aspired to when I started collecting watches - then call it a day
Norman, you are a dress watch guy,... Nice collection, though. I also like minimalistic german watches. I'd say you need more color and some complications in your collection, but that's just me,... Cheers!
@@KillingTimeWithNorman I'm very basic. In terms of color, I like blue, green and salmon. In terms of complications, GMT and chronograph. That's it! Cheers!
I don't know how it differs from gold plated, my understanding is it's a step up, but sadly not gold capped. That would be an actual piece of gold set over an underlying case etc - I believe.
Super cool and unique collection man. I love the Nomos, but each one I feel holds a special place.
Thank you SO much! I really appreciate it! 🍸🍸
Im with you on the pole router design.
That and the constellation with pie pan dial my favs
Design wise.

I totally agree!
Great collection Norman. My favourite would be the Max Bill. Enjoy.

Great collection.

Thanks so much, man! Yeah aside from the vintage pieces - fortunately - larger options can usually be had. 🍸🍸
Did not now you had the Wittnaeur and I had just mentioned that I
thought you needed a Constellation. Thxs for the shout out.
:) I ALMOST said something, but figured I'd wait until this vid came out hehe
No... thank YOU! Such a brilliant watch! Thanks again again
That Stowa movement looks amazing. I want their type b flieger with the hand winding movement
It really does! Oh! Yeah a Flieger would be great. I've never owned one. Probably ought to get one at some point. I'll have to keep my eyes open for when you get one.
Great stuff Norm, love these pieces.

I should buy one of these.
@@a000ab Yeah that Hadley looks good. Far as I can see it's just like mine. Weird how lizard straps have more taper options than most straps.

Nomos lugs fly out too wide. I love the Smiths. I agree, the Dolce Vita is the perfect size

What's with hat on, inside "late at night" ?
I just always wear hats hehe. Can I claim it's sprezzatura? lol 🍸🍸
You should hold it so we can see the strap better
