Eating sweets is not my favorite, but if i take a large portion of them, my blood sugar level rises high. I think it's the high concentration of the glucose flowing into the bloodstream all at once. This is a lesson worth taking note of. This is a great material to learn from.
Hi there Jesse, there isn't any food or fruits that people who are living with diabetes cannot eat. The sugar in fruit is natural, which is different to added/artificial sugars. I have been suffering from (HERPES) disease for the last four years and had constant pain, especially in my knees. I keep getting an E1 error message flashing up and the strip is not drawing the blob of blood up. Not sure where I am going wrong. Can anyone help?

What fruits should diabetics avoid?
Hi Michael, there are no fruits that people living with diabetes should avoid, although we do recommend with dried fruits generally to watch portion sizes as it's easy to get carried away. Also, we do recommend limiting the amount of fruit juice you drink as these tend to be high in natural sugars. It's better to get your lance ready before placing strip, my opinion. If you use alcohol wipes, don't use first drop of blood. It could be tainted and not give you accurate results.
Does it have to be too fast? Is any cost involed? I undrestood what you said but you need to consider everybody, so speak clearly and slowly please.
actually the needle or lancet u can use again and again. Secondly, some dont have a adjustment for the lancet. The needle or lancet pricks so fast there is no worry for contamination, unless of course u drop it or ur finger is some how dirty. Thirdly, those things somehow turn off. watch out. Also, due to wrong readings.As it does start to happen. Products designed to fail. Reset by taking the battery out flipping the battery ,putting the cap back on .Then taking completely out . Then put back right usually fatter or plus side up. Never trust the reading as it can be too high or tool low should be within 6. Then you might or usually have todo this ever 15 reading or so even cleaning the port with a alcohol swab. ie alcohol on a Kleenex ..placed on a toothpix . Just be careful when u place it in the port. GL

What should diabetics not eat?
Go to a dietician, nutritionist. You can eat anything but in proportions and in a timely matter And. Exercise . Make the better choices as well. Exchange one carb for a better carb. Eat a less sugary fruit for instance. Drink water instead of juice or soda. Add lemon to it.
Read many resources and get counseled . Blessings
