I’d like to think the reason why Phoenix’s Magatama was able to seal away stand powers is because of Phoenix’s deduction that causes the stand user’s soul to shake with fear and insecurity, and with that opening the magatama did the rest of the work to supressed a part of the stand user’s will, thus not allowing them to access the stand again.
makes sense, but does it have a time limet? is there a way to get ones stand back? I think that the psyce-lock is placed on the stand itself, and can only be removed with deep self reflection, as one of the points of going to jail is to: "think about what you have done".

I'm just guessing that the spiritual energy coming from the magatama only affects the person being directly interacted with. This is demonstrated by Phoenix having to hold it when he talks to a person.
Unironically If the Joestars worked with a guy like Phoenix since the beggining Pucci would probably had lost, i mean, he would probably get discovered and try to kill everyone/escape The Stand Users would fight against Withe Snake and Win, bringing a happy ending to the Joestars's story And this shows that law is surely one hell of a power
This seems like an actual ace attorney case, and a very good one at that, with a very satisfying ending for both Jojo and Ace attorney part of the crossover. If the judge was the judge that works usually with Phoenix I swear to God he at this point would've believed if Phoenix told him about Pucci having a stand

Yep, this delivered. When I saw the strings forming a web at the start I didn't fully register what was happening, but then Pucci's lock reveal had me cheering. That's a fantastic way to show the stands! I really enjoyed how it was mostly covered by shadow, likely a reference to Pucci's nature and the fact that it's meant to be a secret that's been pulled out of the shadows, but I also like to think it's a (possibly unintentional?) Queen reference.

Another fantastic video, I loved all the custom sprites, Phoenix bonding a little with the prosecutor, and straight up destroying Pucci's Stand. The quality of these videos have actually inspired me to write one of my own JoJo AA story (though I don't have the means of animating it), where Kira is arrested instead of dying at the end of Part 4 and defends himself against the accusations in court. The Speedwagon Foundation wants to ensure he gets arrested despite it being impossible to prove Stands are real to the court, so they employ Gavin to prosecute and ensure a guilty verdict by any means necessary.

The tricky part is proving that Kira is Kira what with the whole changing his identity. Leading to bringing evidence of Cinderella and Centipede shoes, bringing in Koichi, Okuyasu, Jotara, and Josuke to court
What a wonderful world (you’ve created) I loved how you integrated the workings of the magatama with the concept of stands (and phoenix trying to name it like a stand on the fly and failing) it was such fun worldbuilding that really made it feel natural for both universes Also the art for Pucci was phenomenal! (And since Jolyne is going to still have a brief stint in prison I wonder if that means she might still end up meeting Hermes and F.F. )

Hermes would still be after Sports Maxx, and the F.F. fight would probably be the same. Anasui would probably still fall for Jolyne, but without the events of the Ultra Punishment Ward arc, Jolyne and Anasui probably wouldn't end up together. Without Whitesnake to distribute Stands, the only fights would be Gwess and F.F. Maybe Hermes and FF would have to fight Miu Miu, provided that Jail House Lock was an ability she was born with and was not given to her by Pucci (which it very well could've been).
I can't believe I'm only seeing this now. I remember seeing the previous part a year ago and thought of how great a masterpiece it is! This one flows so great after the other one and it was truly an awesome continuation of the first! Wonderful job man!

This was so good! Pucci was perfectly in character, calm and colected until his plan was revealed and he lost his composture. Phoenix pulling shit out of his ass (and awakening a stand lmao), the prosecutor helping him out at the end and the beautiful conclusion with Jotaro and Jolyne. Truly an amazing work!

Imho magenta lock is a very good idea, but a very bad stand. I mean, in fight almost any other stand user would win, because the conditions for the lock to work are very unlikely in an actual battle, and even if it works it just makes the opponent equal to user, not gives him an actual advantage. I mean, it definetly would be a disaster if someone very strong massacred the whole courtroom, but it needs to be a very strong stand user to do that anyways, even if there werent other stand users (and i remind you that Pucci would most likely lose to Jotaro if he didnt caught him offguard). All of that makes chances to win miserable.
So, one thing - this wouldn't just get their sentences reduced, it would outright acquit both Romeo and Jolyne of Murder as they had no _intentional_ part in the crime. The actual murderer would be whoever tossed the victim in front of them. Instead, they'd both get charged with Obstruction of Justice for hiding the body, and Romeo would also be charged with Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle for being in possession of a stolen car, and with Open Container for the beer bottle. Romeo's going away for a good 20 years and will lose his driver's license permanently. Jolyne... depends on the ruling, but considering the circumstances she'll probably get just get a huge fine or at most a few years, Obstruction of Justice is a VERY situational charge that takes many factors into account, including intentionality.
Honestly, part 5 basically is a fantastic setting to use for a Miles Edgeworth Investigations-type game. I mean, to begin with the anti-drugs message is a PERFECT reason for Edgeworth to get involved, since Passione is a international crime ring Fransiska will probably show up, and then of cource there's Diavolo who would 100% be out to kill the ace attourney gang since they are gunning for his identity, but has to carefully juggle the assasins going rogue on him and the part 5 gang, alongside the law-based shenangins since they'd investigate/mention all the stuff that happens like the Little Feet fight blowing up cars, Graceful Dead wiping out the train, basically everything in Rome, and we can also get things like Edgeworth using Little Theif to reconstruct the 10 seconds of time that King Crimson erased to try and find evidence Diavolo was there
