I don't look down on people who wear smart watches. I used to have one myself. And the hybrids are very interesting, but there is just something so much more beautiful and entrancing to me about a mechanical watch, be it automatic or quartz. That said, another fantastic video that I enjoyed very much! Especially the portion relating to the history of watches during their transition from pocket being the dominate to wristwatches being the dominant.
@@UEdwards1 thank you so much for the feedback, your positive words are much appreciated! While it's nice to have a bit of fun at the expense of smart watches, we too recognise how important they have been in getting us off the couch. Till the next time!
I’m a little bit of watch snob, but it has nothing to with price or costs. I’m more of a snob when it comes to mechanical vs non mechanical watches. I do have some heavy hitters but I appreciate those as much as my Baltic or Christopher Ward. In fact, I highly recommend you look into a Christopher Ward watch. Just got the Twelve in mineral blue dial and it’s fabulous. Cheers from Dallas
@underdog5081 thanks for the comment! I have seen a few Christopher Ward watches, some of which I love. I think we all have a bit of a snob in us but that's ok or we would all be wearing MVMT! 😂 Have a great day!
Hi underdog5081, I am about to start a new watch showcase feature on my RUclips videos for members of the Facebook channel (The Unconventional Watch Channel Club). If you would like to join and post a photo of one of your watches I would love to feature it, as one of my early supporters! TUWC
