I’ve owned a full spec Modena for 2 months now and I agree with most of what you say. The issue is the platform is a real mess at the moment and mine has just got back from spending 37 straight days in the service center for numerous issues. The whole key and keyless entry system is a mess and even the loaner had issues. The dealer told me that the President of Maserati America has said that the Grecale has had a lot more issues than they expected. The design in the interior is great but there is also a lot of cheap like the steering wheel buttons and doors buttons and bad design decisions like backlighting them where you can’t see what the buttons are in sunlight with sunglasses on. The screens and buttons are also fingerprint magnets. And then there is the beeping. The car never stops beeping. Even if it’s open and you touch the front door handles, the car beeps twice. If you don’t get the handle touch perfect, it can beep 4 or 5 times. Walk 1 meter from the car and it locks and beeps so filling up with gas/petrol is a pain. Get out of the car and walk along it to the passenger side back door and the car locks along the way and beeps twice. It’s just a hugely frustrating car. Other things work when they want to like the tailgate kick sensor, speakers in the car. In summary, a great design and better looking than others on the road but falls short of its competitors in every dept other than design an interior space in the back. It’s also the most expensive in class which could be a real issue for Maserati. The needed success of the Grecale could redefine them but it could also end them. Only time will tell!
I guess you got unlucky with a lemon, I have owned a Grecale Modena for 2 months now, flawless car and everything is in working order. Unlike my previous porsche macan s which has numerous issues.
I have a GLB 35AMG for about a year now around the similar price and performance but I think boot space is a bit smaller compared to my old discovery sport and the ride comfort/tyre noise is not that great on Sydney roads... Wondering if this modena model would ride better?
It’s not edgy enough for me. The front grill is sharp looking but everything around it is too puffy. Overall the car is bland and doesn’t stand out in the way that a car wearing the Maserati badge should.

this is a beautiful car! Modena is awesome, great price and lots of horse power, stable over 120 miles per hour (yes I test drove that fast)
Love Maserati cars their design and styling are very pleasant to my eye.
funny enough, maserati was the one to come up with the idea of a car of this format
watching from the US (seattle) this review is pretty HONEST - I hate reviews sponsored by dealership
A VERY HONEST REVIEW - GREAT JOB (GREETINGS FROM SEATTLE USA)

These cars are best suited for European roads. In Australia people can lump around in their prado and Pajero
Grecalaay and levantaay….
Never heard of those models before.
Cool badge
No tienes ni idea un stelvio es mejor que el macan y un grecales es hermano del stelvio

Only the entry variant makes sense.after that its overpriced .you could get a larger more luxurious range rover sport .
Nice Fiat!
