A perpetual confounder, Portuguese house producer Alkalino, now returns to re-editing (after having appeared to have switched to original production). This second EP of cut and paste jobs features some clever reworking skills on tunes that range from the obvious ("Gnarls Barkley's 'Crazy', George Benson's 'Turn Your Love Around'), to more cult tunes like Liaisons Dangereuses' 'Los NiNos Del Parque' and "Gurls". However the standout track here is the accelerated, super-chic version of Change's "Let's Go Together".

I have the 12"inch single which was released back in 1985 on Cooltempo Records, which is a London ( was... ) based record label.
You sampled the beat from the remix. Or have taken the original and "pitched it up" ( I usually do that with old school funky soul, like many other deejays...)

You don't have to take my word for it. It is on the internet as a 12"single video on You Tube. I just saw it.
There is also a 7"inch version as well. Not remixed to my mind. If you are looking to buy up the vinyl out there.
I am a big fan of Change, especially when the late Luther Vandross was a staple part of the line up.
I have been following your stuff for some time now amd this was the only track I could not put my finger on. Thanks to your initial reply I'm gonna' play this at the weekend again..!
