A watermill or windmill (if undamaged) could also work for a plucker. Just build one with a point where you can connect a mechanically driven(gears) device. I imagine you'd have to build the plucker custom, but there may be a demand for them now. Bicycle powered may work as well under the same principle, only i imagine you'd be limited to 1 chicken at a time l.
