I'll give Reverchon spinning mice this, they offer a pretty lengthy ride for a coaster of its size. That being said, it's pretty egregious that you can ride Phoenix at Knoebels four times for the price of one ride on Crazy Mouse.
I really wish this park could get an extreme-level coaster sometime soon. A stand-out coaster would not only help Steel Pier, but Atlantic City overall
It was just announced Steel Pier is getting a new Premier Rides Sky Rocket II!! Just what I was waiting for. I live in the area, and this is just what I was wanting to happen!
First mistake was going to Atlantic City. Ocean City or Wildwood are much better overall and have better parks. Ocean City is my favorite, but Wildwood is likely much cheaper. I've grown up in south jersey and can tell you Atlantic City is only good if you're looking to Gamble.
I regularly visit Seaside Heights with my family during the summer (not so much in 2020, of course), and I like making the trek south to Wildwood. Atlantic City has *nothing* for me personally, least of all this very shabby lineup of rides. The only reason I would visit AC is for gambling, and with the rise of casinos much closer to me, I have little desire to do even that.
The family bought the park due to hitting the lottery. At one time they operated a traveling carnival. Years ago they set up there rides in the defunct Magic Harbor Theme Park in south Myrtle Beach SC. They had a Flying Bobs, Chance Sky Diver and other carnival rides. But attendance was bad and they pulled most of the big rides out, sending them to state fairs, before closing for good.
My cousins live in AC so they’ve been a bunch of times. I live an hour away but I’ve never been. Only NJ boardwalk park I’ve been to is Gillians wonderland pier
@@CanobieCoaster no, I didn’t know about it until like 2 years ago. Haven’t been to OC in a little while. After we went to gillians a last year we walked around there for a bit but didn’t have time to go on any rides. :( I want gale force and wild waves on my credit list. Btw could you review wild waves?
Unfortunately, I experienced a non-spinning ride on a spinning mouse once, ironically enough on the aptly named Galaxy Spin at Fun Spot Kissimmee. What made this experience worse was the notion that a) the coaster was the longest wait of the night, and b) literally every car before me and after me spun.
@@CanobieCoaster me too!! Have you heard of cj Barrymore? It’s a family entertainment center in Michigan near Detroit, and they asked what attractions they would like to see. I recommend a sky rocket 2! I think they look like so much fun.
Our spinning mouse coaster is being replaced. 2023 we should have the new one. Crazy Crab. a Primer Rides prototype spinning mouse. theamed to the Crazy Crab. I'm not sure if that's the correct spelling.
@Brandon Donath do you work for Steel Pier? I have a few questions regarding this coaster. To be truthful, far more people would be drawn in to Steel Pier to a more intense roller coaster than a spinning wild mouse.
@@CanobieCoaster yeah I can't wait to ride this carousel again but when fat people ride the carousel with me I get scared that the whole ride would collapse.
im glad u reviewed this park cuz its one of the lesser talked about boardwalk parks
I can understand why a lot of people don't talk about it considering its size and what the big coaster is.
@@CanobieCoaster yeah ur right it makes sense tho
There’s so many parks along the Jersey shore it’s insane there’s Fantasy Island, Steel Pier, Jenkinsons Boardwalk, Gillians Pier, Playlands, Moreys
I agree. They're loaded with parks.

I saw some people complaining about the most recent price hike at Knoebels and this puts everything in perspective.

I wish they could as well.

@CanobieCoaster They are making a new coaster. I might go on it in 2024 when It comes.out for the public.
I didn’t even know this place existed. MIX is on my bucket list.
I didn't ride Mix, but I've ridden similar boosters and they're a lot of fun.

I had visited the other places before so I wanted to try Steel Pier just to see it.
The only ride I’ve been on here was the parks slingshot in 2018 or 2019 and this slingshot is so intense
I've ridden 2 slingshots and I wasn't a big fan to be honest.

Since I'm not a gambler, I won't be back to Atlantic City for a while.
I showed up to this park after a storm and it was closed and they didn’t announce when it would open until after I left the boardwalk
Boardwalk parks can be finicky with their hours.
@@CanobieCoaster yeah it was the day of a Tropical Storm but they didn’t clarify any times
6:47 I am terrified of booster rides. But that sounds so fun being flung over the ocean I’d have to ride
It's fantastic.

I will be reviewing Wild Waves at some point, but I'll have something that touches on that ride tomorrow!

That's bad luck!
Explain to me why this ride doesn't allow single riders. That's a rule they also have at Lagoon and it doesn't make any sense.
I don't have a good reason why unless it's to encourage multiple people to buy tickets or fully load vehicles.
The Swing Carousel ride is deceptively thrilling.
Nice!
They are getting a premier rides wild mouse and sky rocket 2!
Excited for both.

There will be a Premier Rides Sky Rocket II coming in 2025!! A thrill coaster at last!
Did you see what was announced that Steel Pier is getting in 2025 at IAAPA
That's a great spot and fit for a Sky Rocket II.
They should replace the wild mouse coaster with a small wooden coaster or a eurofighter
I'd be on board with that!
Im gonna be near here when I go to ac for a competition
Nice!
Hey, what's your opinion on the carousel?
Didn't ride it, but I like double deckers.

I wasn't paying attention unfortunately.
