I wish you would do some Zebralight reviews. There aren't many good videos of them out there. I love my SC64c LE and have been trying to find good reviews of some of their other lights.
Thanks for the honest review! I was tempted to give this light a try, but ultimately decided to give it a pass after I saw this video. I went with the Wurkkos TS10 instead, which is essentially the same thing, but without Lumintop's quality control issues, and with AUX LEDs! It also has a stiffer switch that isn't as easy to activate by accident as I found the switches in Lumintop's FW series lights to be.
I don’t know, man. I’ve had a couple of these and none of them show the issues you’ve had. They also use an entirely different set of instructions than the ones you were using, so maybe something has changed. Sounds like you got a bad one.
Yeah man, sad it wasn't up to snuff so to speak. Looks like it has a lot of potential. Maybe Lumintop sent a dud and will replace with a functional unit so you can do a full review...and a SCARY climactic ending :).
@@FLASHAHOLIC_TV I look forward to watching your reviews. I've watched almost all of them. You have a unique way of showing the different lights that compare to the flashlight your testing. Hope you make more reviews in the future.
Hey man, I can’t find where to buy the Samsung 40T 21700 or the 30T anymore. Do you know where I can get one? Also which would you suggest for an Astrolux EA01S?
QUESTION: I need a rechargeable medium lumen (400-800lm) house flashlight for my ailing grandmother. Does anyone know of an inexpensive hand-size light that has little to no complication so she won't be baffled on how to use it and she won't be afraid to use it in an emergency- one that won't shut itself down due to heat or break into a million pieces if dropped? Maybe a light weight torch style with a handle to replicate the old 6volt one-button incandescents everyone had in the 60s and 70's? I will be maintaining it it for her. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
got mine today works good but cant seem to get the strobe modes working, on my older fw lights its 2 clicks and third click hold to enable? but cant make it work on this... i read the manual still not enables from off.. not sure what im doin gwrong.
ordered some batteries for some of my Lumintop flash lights, was told i got a cable for charging battery and connects to some flash light i don't own, yet never received such cable. was told to check my account, thought for a second maybe i did mess up, turns out NO i didn't ,there's the order payed for BUT NOT RECEIVED... so i through all my Lumintop flash lights out the window with the battery inside to see if they wood work from 3rd floor - They all stopped working lmfao... the funny thing is Lumintop lost a loyal customer for ever... told them to keep batteries i never received along with the money... Rule of thumb - when ever a company trys to milk you or trys to hide there mistakes over a few AA batteries - PUCK THEM Puck them all Period !!!
To me it is a shame that it won't run an AA even if there is a huge performance hit. I understand there are voltage issues and perhaps protecting the higher voltage battery from being over drained keeps it from being compatible with an AA, but still.... ;-) Of course it appears this light has greater problems anyway.

The size is what caught my attention. Perfect for EDC

Missing your regular uploads 🙁 Hope you're ok mate? Looking forward to your return!
The FW1AA seems to have no problems, runs on AA as well and is a dedicated thrower. I'm tempted by this one.

Doesn't Lumintop get tired of making mistakes?
Are Maratac flashlights made by Lumitop? Some of the models look almost identical.
The batteries you used are good the torch is a fookin DUD
fw3a still the best for me.

GOOD VIDEO AND REVIEW,
Zeroair commented how floody the FWAA is, now thanks to your video, I see what he means.
I think he measured the exact same turn on power too!
Lol I mean just look at the candela

Any plans of getting the odd looking Emisar DT8?
Nope.

Does it have a quick access TURBO mode to immediately put it on max brightness?
I'd check but mine was broke.

How do you know the LEDs are high CRI? I can't find the CRI for the emitters in these lights anywhere, including Lumitop's site
It features sst20 or Nichia 219c leds. Both high CRI. There is plenty of information about it.

Tap 9 times then short hold. Then try again
There's 2 modes that each have their own features. You're in the first simple mode. You need to change to anduril 2 mode then it'll work like a charm.
Do you have a great offer or idea for a UV Flashlight? I need one. Only UV function with a good and powerfull LED. 18650 or 21700 battery

To simulate lightning for showing off or maybe a Halloween party etc. Maybe mood lighting when there's heavy rain outside but no lightning.
