All this depends on how far north you live. If it's farther north you could potentially perform your perfect patio pitcher party playing out a bit later than the end of March.
That said if you live far enough north, if it hits 33 degrees Fahrenheit in frosty, frozen, forsaken February, in friggin certain parts of North America, you may be able to perform the perfect patio pitcher party perfectly safely. Be warned though that if you go full shorts/jorts and T-shirt (No sweatshirt. You'll want that muscle shirt look, but nah not now) you still have to have your boots and thermal socks because that frost line in the ground runs deep. That'll curtail calm casual consumption of cold beer. Like he said, pay attention to the wind, wouldn't want wasted work setting up the perfect patio pitcher party because wind chill is wicked.

I was visiting family in Arizona and a group of North Dakotans showed up. The four of them including grandma killed a 30 rack of Busch in an afternoon of patio talking and then drove to their next patio party. Wild
We have nothing better to do in the winters, lot of drinking practice. Reason it’s the #1 binge drinking state.

Interestingly enough in my town it's illegal to serve a single person a pitcher. You can serve two people two pitchers, but a single person just has to order individual beers. They could order enough pints to equal two pitchers and that's legal, but a whole pitcher is not.

@@thegooch503 Mankato, MN! It's a local ordinance because we're a college town that has a lot of drunk college kids. There are other ordinances that ban 2 for 1s after a certain time because college kids were just getting too drunk too fast and shit.
