Kaela, thank you so much!! I had no idea just how bad I needed this study in my own walk until I watched chapter 1, the first time. I'm now setting aside time to go back and watch each video again, and again!! I started praying for you yesterday for protection for you through this. You are so on fire 🔥 for God that it absolutely transcends through the screen when I'm following through each video. My children are getting involved and I'm working on a way to provide your work book to my personally led Bible study at my apartment complex. So, I'm praying that my walk will send people I know to watch this too. What a powerhouse! God is working on me and my family through your faithfulness to Him, sister! Keep going, keep doing this thing. I believe in your mission and I am here for it!! I giggled when you got to verse 5. I feel like Jesus had a “clap back” moment. I was like “no he didn’t”. 😮
I have those same moments when I read the Bible - because they are real people and if we can get into the stories and the history and into their day, then oh goodness, I'm sure they have personalities and attitudes like we do today too 😉

I recently, felt prompted by the Holy Spirit to dive deeper into God's word because I used to just read the Bible as a checklist but never really understand the true meaning of any of it. I have never understood so much from just pausing and thinking about each line in these chapters of Matthew. You are truly a blessing to me. Thank you once again for walking us through each chapter and teaching us more about God's word each day.

I am way behind but trying to stay steady in the study of Matthew. Thank you for all you are doing to support me. I just read the commentary from the CS Lewis Bible from Mere Christianity regarding 7:16-7:20.- For what we are trying to do is to remain what we call "ourselves," ... We are all trying to let our mind and heart go their own way - centered on money or pleasure or ambition and hoping, in spite of this, to behave honestly and chastely and humbly. This really spoke to me.

Literally, I am so glad you're here... Day by day! It's time to grow! For me, it's not just been "Holy Spirit examine me", but "Holy Spirit help me to examine myself"... that's been the kicker for me because then it truly helps me and forces me to do it, to examine myself, to look deeper within... I had to take a pause, and I'm watching this while not having time to sit down and take proper notes like I normally do. That being said, I can't post the time stamp I'm commenting on, but I'm using this for a sort of recorded note 😂 because I am personally guilty of this in my early walk, and **cringe** now 😮😢 I wonder how many people were side eyeing the person they dragged there, thinking 🤔 "did you hear that? He is totally calling you out about what you did when you **enter situation** oh my goodness I can't wait to rewatch this one when I have sit down time 😊❤ let's go!
I discovered in my studies the definition of the word I never "knew" you from Matthew 7:23. Think about if God knows us in a personal relationship with Him not that we know who He is or know of Him but have a relationship.
