if someone would have told 2008 me that they'd be getting new les stroud content in 2021 or 2022, he'd be amazingly happy.

I have always thought the Douglas Fir, with the new light colored needles, looks really cool. Never would have thought of it as something edible, although Euell Gibbons always said, “many parts are edible.” And, how appropriate, the Douglas Fir being a popular Christmas tree.

Hm. I cannot find the full episode about harvesting !
    Isnt it out yet?
I really want to learn more. Canada's nature, and the Norwegian one, might not be that similar, but still.
I know that our pine tree have the light green small branches, and its edable , seems pretty similar , actually...
And we have lots of it . We also have a lot of hazelnuts , wild onions, edable flowers, and some roots.
Under world war, they made bread with crushed bark, just to make the flour last longer .
Nowadays, the question about being able to harvest from nature are even more important...I dont feel safe anymore , thanks to politic. Even tho our country is a peaceful country , i feel we should be prepared...
It wouldnt hurt, thats for sure.
    Regards to Les !

I’m a reiki master and electronic technician... I have a theory on how you could capture imagery of Sasquatch or other phenomena... it has to do with quantum collapse and electric fields.. if you’re interested, let me know.
