@metal_complex Could you please do a review of the EMP EDC BOWIE PULSE ??? while it's not made in America, I do believe that it will be their flagship OTF due to it being more far more aesthetically pleasing and with BESTECH being the O.E.M. it's made very well and extremely sharp! Anyway.... 😂 Curious to hear your thoughts?
@metal_complex I have the USA made pulse warncliffe and mine has a bald spot under the pocket clip. I just ordered it from the most recent drop that John did around the beginning of November.
Mine comes in tomorrow, looking forward to receiving it. My daily has been the hogue in tanto blade, but wanted a more utillian blade shape for daily use of working as a chef and having to get into boxes fast and breaking them down. Plus tanto blades are a huge pain to keep sharp and keeping grind angle correct.
I have the Bowie Pulse and it is AMAZING! The deployment is crisp, smooth and powerful. So much so that i jumped at buying a 1st Gen USA made pulse. Compared to the Chinese made Bowie Pulse I find the action disappointing. I wonder if a slightly stronger spring would cure that? Also pre-ordered the Pulse R. Can't wait for that puppy to come in!
Ive got takcom barracuda in magnacut that i got on sale for 80 bucks, has almost 0 bladeplay and switch has 0 blade play, no rattle in open/closed position. OEMed by bestech I think. Luvdemknives tested HRC and it was 63.7 I believe. It is made in china but it's pretty insane compared to any of those lol.
That "sale" (a code they forgot to deactivate) was so good that it felt like I was ripping them off, especially after I got the knife and saw how solid it was. I think that's part of the reason why I then chose to order one of their budget autos - a double-action OTF stiletto. With that thing, I was the one getting ripped off. :)
OTF's have never really appealed to me. And they're not legal here anyway. Could I have skipped this video just from the title? Yeah, I could have. Did I still watch the whole review just to listen to MC talk? You bet I did.
Thanks for reiterating the utility of OTFs and allowance of blade play. I will shill Hawk until I die but the jump from play to no play in OTFs is not a capability difference, it's an enthusiast upgrade. Plus anything with exacting tolerances is MORE likely to fail under hard use with grit or impact. Right now the Microtech ZBTs are the perfect middle ground, but any of the competing OTFs are just as good or better depending on what you like. I have a bunch of OTFs and I love them ALL.
Eh, I'm not a fan of the pocket clip at all the shape and milling on it throw off the whole knife but that blade style and finish for an otf is sweet though. Thanks for sharing! Happy new year
Would need to be made in China, less expensive handle material, less expensive blade material, much lower overall quality. Those exist. They're called the Lightning OTF and they're even less than that

Severely Underrated It's a fantastic deal on a USA made knife well under $300 titanium accents to top it off with the magnacut
Potatoes and gwavy otf.
@Spthomas47 exactly 😎

_I love me the tigerstripe livewire because it reminds me of something ZT would do!😂😂_
For my money I bought a Livewire in all black and was not disappointed.
Orderd a pulse r. Cant wait for it to come out.
I love my Guardian Tactical. Switch is just so smooth.
GT is best!!!
could you review that wheat state cutlery peacemaker? they only made 100 of each of the three color themes

Intro was a different octave, but you still sound silky smooth to me.
I would carry the tanto version!
Nice to see no knife abuse 😊

Looks like I need a livewire
Happy New Year MC!
Edit: this "underrated" knife is completely sold out 🤣
Where'd the point of the blade go?
😂
Which part of the snake would you consider to be the knee?
the most carried knife i own. love everything about it
FIRST VIDEO OF THE YEAR LETS GO
Looks great not a big fan of the blade but it looks good
Thanks
“Alexa, deploy blade.”
😂

Mine was a gift.
I only carry combat lighters in my left pocket. Cool knife, though.

Very disappointed that those are the only blade shapes on the EMP.
👍
Italian immigrants had autos, the reason they’re so heavily regulated is racism.
Same thing with marijuana.
@@butchcassidy3373 since when did Italian immigrants have marijuana?
Jimmy Neutron for sure
Sorry, bro, that things ugly as f😂
Too bad the blade can't be reversed.
Why though? So you can pull it out, deploy, and flip it over in your hand? Interesting choice.
Now make it $50
