- Scotland fell at the hands of Wales for the second time in this ill-fated World Cup Qualification campaign. Grant Hanley put Scotland ahead on the stroke of half time with a bulleted header from a Charlie Mulgrew corner. But a rash challenge by Robert Snodgrass left Scotland down to ten men and handed Wales a penalty which Aaron Ramsey duly converted. Minutes later Hal Robson-Kanu scored the winner, heading past Allan McGregor from six yards.
Really the Ramsey penalty kick was epic.

what i don't understand is why wales aren't really good, cos they have a bangin midfield, a masterclass attack (if Bale's cf), a decent defence and an ok keeper... they play well and give a good show, but for the players we have, we should be doing a top 30 finish kinda thing.
If they tried hard enough, they could compile and cram together a team of premier league caliber players. Hennessey in goal; Ben Davies, Ashley Williams, Neil Taylor, James Collins in defence; Aaron Ramsey in midfield along with Joe Allen and Joe Ledley; Gareth Bale as a CAM or false 9 role; with Simon Church and Vokes partnering up front. Now that's a pretty solid squad. They could at least secure a play-offs for the Euro 2016

As an Englishman what do the Scottish and the Welsh think of each other is there rivalry I know it's nothing like Scotland vs England or Wales vs England just wondering if there's bad blood I don't Wales and Scotland have ever come to blows have they Ireland and Scotland there is friction eng,and Ireland of corse England Wales of corse and obviously England and Scotland what about Ireland and Wales as well! Nah, it is just banter between Wales, Scotland, Republic of Ireland and northern Ireland. We all respect each other. It would be the same with England but they just think they are better than everyone else.

Last time I checked you were still a part of the United Kingdom. And your football team has never even reached the knockout stages of a major tournament, unlike Wales who have reached a semi-final. Your rugby team hasn't won anything since Bill McLaren was a lad. Wales are vastly superior to you in virtually every sport despite having a smaller population.
