Honestly, bettering myself, working out, eating healthier foods, getting outside my comfort zone, and doing the “hard work” inside myself was the most important thing, to me at least. It was/is hard work. Looking at yourself honestly isn’t easy. But everything else after that has been relatively easy. I’m in a relationship with a kind hearted and extremely loving Filipina, seen amazing places, met amazing people, and now working on nailing down a home base!!! My life is just getting started!!!! Everything before this? That was just a warm up!
Before coming to the Philippines... Leave your scarcity mindset and do not fall into a "Thirsty attitude" the chicks pick up on that quickly. Just take your time dont rush it. Get your lodging set up start exercising and focus on good health sleep and get a $4 dollar massage... Be friendly and look observe and be a chaty smile and make a comfortable eye contact. Just have a positive and enjoyable mindset. It will all come flooding before you know it.
A decent genuine and truly gf/wife worthy Filipina are not found in the bars or street. They mostly go to Church on Sundays. There you might likely find one.
@@r2kin2phils There are decent/normal Filipinos all over the place like Malls, walking on the street (eg going work/uni) and sometimes (but rarely) they go out to bars. That's not the issue, the issue is that they are generally not interested in foreigners especially old/crusty ones and it won't help going to church to get one because church girls generally want to date locals
My biggest advice to anyone looking for love in the Philippines or anywhere in SE Asia is to look for red flags and then DO NOT gloss over them or think she can change for you. Leopards don’t change their spots. Nobody is perfect but if you’re like me at age 65 I need to be very picky because I don’t or perhaps don’t, have the time to make a 2 year mistake. BTW I just ended a 2 year relationship where I did ignore the obvious signs and it cost me thousands and thousands of dollars but more importantly it cost me time and opportunity to possibly find the ONE.
It takes six months to find a decent girl in the Philippines… they’re not as easy as you think. The good ones are going to take longer to find, and it’s going to take a lot of work and patience

Some guys have zero self-awareness. Not only that, those same guys usually have no ability to read the room. The idea of "expectations vs reality" not only applies to the people of the country, but more so to how you present yourself to them. Sorry to tell you guys, “normal” Ph girls that you are trying to pick up in the mall (students, call centre girls, recent graduates, retail workers etc) are no longer interested in fat, old, broken down foreign guys regardless if they got money or not. Social media, better economic prospects and huge influx of younger tourists/foreigners has completely changed the dynamics. So stick to bar girls or super poor province girls (who just want you ONLY for money and are also getting fussy). I think there are some guys out there that would be rated below a 5 on a scale of 10 and they come with the expectation that they can get a Filipina that is a 10. You forgot to add that everyone has their own "natural" level of happiness. Some people have low levels of happiness while others will have a default setting at high. That will play a lot in how they navigate new situations.
I don't understand why guys go their with the expectation of hooking up with a supermodel, young Filipina. If that happens, great, but don't expect it. I have seen plenty of older Filipinas that are still very attractive, down to earth, and traditional. Keeping an open mind seems like the ideal thing to do.
I have a buddy here in the USA that has that way of thinking. Says he only wants to date “10’s when he goes to Thailand and is expecting a real relationship once he gets there and he will have this 10 gf that is 24. I have to remind him that dude you are 62!!!!! There is no 24 yr old 10 anywhere in the world that is legitimately looking for a real serious relationship with a 62 yr old dude. Another excellent video Chad. I would boil it down as follows: If you were a flop with chicks in the West, you will be less of a flop in the Philippines. If you were average in dating success in the West, you will be better than average in the PI. If you had no trouble finding dates in the West, you will be able to easily find younger, more beautiful and more interesting girls in the Philippines. Problem I have away from dating sites is feeling/behaving like a "dirty old man". Sure, I go to the mall, but how do you know which younger girl is OK with an older guy approaching them? I am too much of the gentleman to "insult" a lady in this way. So makes it hard.

As a 34 yo man from the UK, financially stable, I’m happily married to a Filipina, my brother is now also dating an educated Filipina while meeting at our wedding in person, she’s NBSB (no boyfriend since birth). You can find incredible women here and I met the most beautiful woman in the world inside and out. All I ask is please respect the Philippine culture, don’t be rude and you’re not above everyone else, flashing the cash is asking for trouble. Each time I travel to the Philippines 3-4 times a year. I see the same mistakes made by older foreigners, and I apologise on their behalf before things escalate.

What is your priority, white sand or pink clam? Most guys would rather live in an urban environment with all the comforts and amenities and a larger pool of women to date regularly. Then when you feel like going to the beach, you travel there with a 100% chance of finding white sand. Versus living on a great beach, then when you feel like a little pink clam, you travel to said location with a 15% chance of scoring. Live in a location where your priorities abound, nice condo, women, gym, restaurants, shopping, women, bars, micro breweries, coffee shops…did I mention women?

When you come to the Philippines, you have to live here for a year and study the culture of the country before deciding to date a girl. You to understand the culture how to approach Filipino women according to the culture. Also you have to talk to other Filipino to coonect you with good girl. According to Reekay's channel which I think is really good for dating advice in the Philippines, any of the major cities now are so saturated with foreigners that you are no longer a hot commodity there and thus it is now much more difficult to date because there's no novelty for the Filipina anymore because there are so many foreigners it doesn't matter to them anymore. Now it's about going to the provinces but I personally couldn't live in the province as I need strong and reliable internet to do my job, although I noticed a lot of these guys are fat and old. So if they expect to go over to any country and lead with the simple fact that they are American, I don't think that's going to cut it. You can't be some out of shape blob and still expect to get any kind of decent woman. Some of these guys need to put down the fork and some of these guys don't understand how traction works because they've not dated for 10 15 20 30 years.
the real thing after her 2 years of becoming a sonogram tech, is a few months of experience at that, the put her in ROTC college for her last 2 years of college and then make her a leitutenant in the National guard. That pays a clear $80 per hour for 500 hours per year, on top of her clearing 50k per year as a sonogramp tech. Living in a cheap part of US like Oklahoma, she can be banking 70k per year. If she learns how to invest that money, she's gong to be very well off in 10 years or so

My first date in the Ph., she looked good online, she lived in the same city and was open to meet. She was strongwilled though so I realized before we even met it wasn't gonna go anywhere. I said we could go to McDonalds, she wanted to go to Jollibees instead, it was next door. Now, I had already discovered I hated the burgers at Jollibees so I tried to get her to accept McDonalds, it was not possible so I suggested a compromise: Let's meet at Macs and then we go to Jollys from there, she reluctantly accepted. I figured she was gonna be on "filipino time" and I didn't want to sit around at Jollys that long. Instead I figured I could be at Macs at the actual time of the date, have a meal and some coffee and wait for her in a good way. Well, she wasn't on filipino time, just when I had ordered my meal she turned up, it was a bit embarrasing explainig I was waiting for my order but she took it in stride. Then I ate it with her carefully watching, since she wasn't gonna have anything there, a pretty odd experience. Well we went to Jollys afterwards and she got her chicken 'n rice and it was less crowded there so we hung out for a while. We met a couple of times more, she didn't look as her profile pic, it was probably 5 years old, but she looked alright. It wasn't any sparks though so I left for another city, after that we didn't keep in touch for long. She did like it when I took pics of us when we met so I still had some in my phone. I remember looking at them afterwards and realizing it would've been a dream if I had met someone that goodlooking and way younger than me back home. When things turn real they are often different though and there was no real attraction 😆

Depends on what you mean by “more income”. If you are referring to a guy trying to make ends meet on $1200-1400 per month…would he live somewhere else if he was bringing in $2500-3000 per month, probably. But the guys who are in their mid 50s to early 60s have completely retired have a 7 figure net worth (not that uncommon) and are bringing in $4500-9000 per month… living in the PI gives them a great lifestyle, plenty of dating options and a place like BGC is a great place to live half the year while you travel the World…with one of your Filipina girlfriends. Now the guys with a net worth of $10+ Million and pulling in $20K per month, they have tons of options in other parts of the World!
Im married 2.5 years and still get approached by women here when l go out. They are mostly women in there 30s and 40s. While l feel flattered l just dont need that kind of trouble in my life.
Dating is not the reason I am leaving the Philippines. I got married here recently. Its the pollution, dust, family scamming, lack of quality diet, lack of exercise activities, infrastructure, etc. Many things to love here but go anywhere else & the quality of your like is raised. Glad that I have my Filipina to go with me now.😊❤
TLDR; female nature is the same everywhere and the internet has been available in the Phillipines for along time. Lower your expectations before moving. The accommodation part , near the end, is more useful.

Here’s the kicker, there’s no doubt you can certainly upgrade in the phil’s. As most guys that come here, cannot even get a date in the west say. For those guys it’s a amazing ..to even date a girl and maybe younger but they are dating the poor girls generally. Men are lazy dater’s, they see the face and maybe body and that’s about it, problem is here in the phil’s you’ll get lots of negatives with that. Guys should concentrate on a more mature well balanced Filipina …and there are lots of professional, lonely educated Filipina wanting to find there true love. It just takes more time to find.

I live in the Philippines and am married to a stunning Filipina. The reality is that some foreigners are useless at communicating. If you are a good communicator, you will have no problems. I am a strong believer in video chatting with a girl online while in your home country for several months. In this way you can really get to know each other before you leave home. When you do get to the Philippines you have a girl who you have talked to for hours 7 days per week, and she will be immense help to you upon arrival. If you know how to communicate you will know before you arrive if she is what you really want. I had no problem meeting good women in Canada, but they were my age, and I wanted a young woman, so I came to the Philippines. I met three awesome girls online and chose the third one. Be patient I spent 4 years finding my dream girl.
Hi Chad, in addition to your topics a thing thats also negative is the money you have to spend living here, prices fore food go up about 10% a year , a lot off things you buy have poor quality ( often buy new) immigration gets worse , first it was 11000 fore 6 months now we can extend only 2 months fore 2200 a month, retirement visa you can do but bankdeposit 10 ore 20000 usd which you cant touch till you leave, you will get less back then the money you put there ( they call that investment😀 ) so apart from dating and finding a place to live there is more

My 3 years Cebu City experience in dating is that hard to find perfect woman. All have issues you have to deal with. The young ones very immature but good in the bed,the 30 plus are all single mums so again its a baggage to deal with and the 40 plus just forget it. So the best option I would say the 30 plus all in all. In Cebu its easy to date even if you are fat and over 60 because your success will mostly depend on your financial situation.
If the guy you mentioned in this video wants to live near a quiet white sand beach for far less cost than the United States, he could do that In Northeast Brazil. Just one problem, he has know Portuguese.

if youre broke, you take her back to the US, spend $`1000 on 4 months of CNA training, Certified Nursing Assistant. She can work for the VA nursing home, $18 an hour and all of the overtime she wants. She can clear 40k per year if she works 60 hour weeks. So she can save 20k per year, to cover her while she goes to 1 year of LPN, licensed practical nurse. school An LPH, who will travel, work 70 hours per week, live in a VAN, can BANK 25k in 6 months, then draw 10k of unemployment in the next 6 months. That will cover her while she does another year at becoming an RN. However, a better deal is 18 more months, becoming a sonogram tech, who can clear 60 per year. Do NOT bring a third world woman to the US, expecting her to work, if she can't pass the Toefl english test with flying colors. I would not KEEP her here if she would not study enough to do well on the military ASVAB test, but I'd not let her find OUT that it's the military test. Let her "think' it's the clep test, for skipping the first 2 years of college.

Offer her 2 years of college loans and grants, which lets her clear 50k per year in US, as a sonogram tech. Then she works that job for a year, reimbursing you for the money you spent finding her and getting her here. Then she'll be a US citizen and you'lll be well advised to divorce her and go get one of the millions more just like her.
First of all, in Asia, American/european/middle eastern approach is not going to work and you are never going to get girls that you expect. More likely you will get as desperate as you or use you up. Asians from good family and content with what they have do go out on a date with random, strangers that came from overseas.That may not happen in your country too. Besides as much as immigrating to Philippines that I have known so far, it is not that easy long term, particularly once you are in your forties and over, even if you are not after getting a woman in your life.
Much about the phills is veneer, it doesn’t live up to the hype/advertising, especially relationships. Many women cannot get past understanding that their husband is their new family, loyalty to this new family comes first.

If you try to approach a hot 20-year-old at the mall in cebu and she's out of your league, just know the odds go way way down and a lot of guys are shooting for the moon with these girls if you approach a 30+ girl who is still cute but not as hot your chances go up exponentially

She is a worker, a hard worker so I had to face the challenge of tempting her to quit her job and rely on my income so we can have some time together. This is a high risk move as we did not have much time to be together before having to make the big decision so in this scenario it is critical to filter out those that are not quite right! The next advice from me is to develop and talk about an exit strategy. If she quit her job and relays on you and now, you want her to leave what are you going to do? I checked into it and there is no non-marriage prenup agreement that would be binding. So in my case I verbally offered her 6 months worth of her salary in the event we should split up to give her an opportunity to get her financial life back together, and I would only give that to her on a monthly payment plan to make sure it does not just evaporate and then she is asking for more…. I am in the middle of all this now so we will see how it works out, but I will say this, it looks like I am one of the lucky ones that made a good choice right from the start…

Honestly, bettering myself, working out, eating healthier foods, getting outside my comfort zone, and doing the “hard work” inside myself was the most important thing, to me at least.

That's not the issue, the issue is that they are generally not interested in foreigners especially old/crusty ones and it won't help going to church to get one because church girls generally want to date locals

My biggest advice to anyone looking for love in the Philippines or anywhere in SE Asia is to look for red flags and then DO NOT gloss over them or think she can change for you. Leopards don’t change their spots. Nobody is perfect but if you’re like me at age 65 I need to be very picky because I don’t or perhaps don’t, have the time to make a 2 year mistake. BTW I just ended a 2 year relationship where I did ignore the obvious signs and it cost me thousands and thousands of dollars but more importantly it cost me time and opportunity to possibly find the ONE.

Sorry to tell you guys, “normal” Ph girls that you are trying to pick up in the mall (students, call centre girls, recent graduates, retail workers etc) are no longer interested in fat, old, broken down foreign guys regardless if they got money or not. You can't fix stupid. WHY build or buy her a house? If you give her $500 per week, to cover EVERYTHING, you are giing her 4x what she can clear, beyond her living expenses, in her normal life. That's plenty, bro, especially in the province or in other countries. WAY too much of Phills is WAY too expensive. and the internet and electricity is WAY too unreliable for me. Guns and ammo are way too hard to come by, as is a place to shoot or hunt.

You forgot to add that everyone has their own "natural" level of happiness. Some people have low levels of happiness while others will have a default setting at high. That will play a lot in how they navigate new situations.
I don't understand why guys go their with the expectation of hooking up with a supermodel, young Filipina. If that happens, great, but don't expect it. I have seen plenty of older Filipinas that are still very attractive, down to earth, and traditional. Keeping an open mind seems like the ideal thing to do.

If you were average in dating success in the West, you will be better than average in the PI. When you come to the Philippines, you have to live here for a year and study the culture of the country before deciding to date a girl. You to understand the culture how to approach Filipino women according to the culture. Also you have to talk to other Filipino to coonect you with good girl. According to Reekay's channel which I think is really good for dating advice in the Philippines, any of the major cities now are so saturated with foreigners that you are no longer a hot commodity there and thus it is now much more difficult to date because there's no novelty for the Filipina anymore because there are so many foreigners it doesn't matter to them anymore. Now it's about going to the provinces but I personally couldn't live in the province as I need strong and reliable internet to do my job, although I noticed a lot of these guys are fat and old. So if they expect to go over to any country and lead with the simple fact that they are American, I don't think that's going to cut it. You can't be some out of shape blob and still expect to get any kind of decent woman. Some of these guys need to put down the fork and some of these guys don't understand how traction works because they've not dated for 10 15 20 30 years.

If she learns how to invest that money, she's gong to be very well off in 10 years or so

My first date in the Ph., she looked good online, she lived in the same city and was open to meet. She was strongwilled though so I realized before we even met it wasn't gonna go anywhere. I said we could go to McDonalds, she wanted to go to Jollibees instead, it was next door. Now, I had already discovered I hated the burgers at Jollibees so I tried to get her to accept McDonalds, it was not possible so I suggested a compromise: Let's meet at Macs and then we go to Jollys from there, she reluctantly accepted.
I figured she was gonna be on "filipino time" and I didn't want to sit around at Jollys that long. Instead I figured I could be at Macs at the actual time of the date, have a meal and some coffee and wait for her in a good way.
Well, she wasn't on filipino time, just when I had ordered my meal she turned up, it was a bit embarrasing explainig I was waiting for my order but she took it in stride. Then I ate it with her carefully watching, since she wasn't gonna have anything there, a pretty odd experience. Well we went to Jollys afterwards and she got her chicken 'n rice and it was less crowded there so we hung out for a while. We met a couple of times more, she didn't look as her profile pic, it was probably 5 years old, but she looked alright. It wasn't any sparks though so I left for another city, after that we didn't keep in touch for long.
She did like it when I took pics of us when we met so I still had some in my phone. I remember looking at them afterwards and realizing it would've been a dream if I had met someone that goodlooking and way younger than me back home.
When things turn real they are often different though and there was no real attraction 😆

Depends on what you mean by “more income”.
If you are referring to a guy trying to make ends meet on $1200-1400 per month…would he live somewhere else if he was bringing in $2500-3000 per month, probably.
But the guys who are in their mid 50s to early 60s have completely retired have a 7 figure net worth (not that uncommon) and are bringing in $4500-9000 per month… living in the PI gives them a great lifestyle, plenty of dating options and a place like BGC is a great place to live half the year while you travel the World…with one of your Filipina girlfriends.
Now the guys with a net worth of $10+ Million and pulling in $20K per month, they have tons of options in other parts of the World!
Im married 2.5 years and still get approached by women here when l go out. They are mostly women in there 30s and 40s. While l feel flattered l just dont need that kind of trouble in my life.
Dating is not the reason I am leaving the Philippines. I got married here recently. Its the pollution, dust, family scamming, lack of quality diet, lack of exercise activities, infrastructure, etc. Many things to love here but go anywhere else & the quality of your like is raised. Here’s the kicker, there’s no doubt you can certainly upgrade in the phil’s. As most guys that come here, cannot even get a date in the west say. For those guys it’s a amazing ..to even date a girl and maybe younger but they are dating the poor girls generally. I live in the Philippines and am married to a stunning Filipina. The reality is that some foreigners are useless at communicating. If you are a good communicator, you will have no problems. I am a strong believer in video chatting with a girl online while in your home country for several months. In this way you can really get to know each other before you leave home. When you do get to the Philippines you have a girl who you have talked to for hours 7 days per week, and she will be immense help to you upon arrival. If you know how to communicate you will know before you arrive if she is what you really want. I had no problem meeting good women in Canada, but they were my age, and I wanted a young woman, so I came to the Philippines. I met three awesome girls online and chose the third one. Be patient I spent 4 years finding my dream girl.
Hi Chad, in addition to your topics a thing thats also negative is the money you have to spend living here, prices fore food go up about 10% a year , a lot off things you buy have poor quality ( often buy new) immigration gets worse , first it was 11000 fore 6 months now we can extend only 2 months fore 2200 a month, retirement visa you can do but bankdeposit 10 ore 20000 usd which you cant touch till you leave, you will get less back then the money you put there ( they call that investment😀 ) so apart from dating and finding a place to live there is more

My 3 years Cebu City experience in dating is that hard to find perfect woman. All have issues you have to deal with. The young ones very immature but good in the bed,the 30 plus are all single mums so again its a baggage to deal with and the 40 plus just forget it. So the best option I would say the 30 plus all in all. In Cebu its easy to date even if you are fat and over 60 because your success will mostly depend on your financial situation.

I live in Anda Bohol, its a bitt province, nice beaches, nice restaurants at the resorts, affodable housing but no mall, so if you are looking fore tropical life it ticks a lott off boxes

If you’re experience with women and truly know what you’re looking for in a woman then it’s much easier. Those old dogs who haven’t dated in 20 years and don’t have any idea of how to manage a modern woman will find dating difficult. if youre broke, you take her back to the US, spend $`1000 on 4 months of CNA training, Certified Nursing Assistant. She can work for the VA nursing home, $18 an hour and all of the overtime she wants. She can clear 40k per year if she works 60 hour weeks. So she can save 20k per year, to cover her while she goes to 1 year of LPN, licensed practical nurse. school An LPH, who will travel, work 70 hours per week, live in a VAN, can BANK 25k in 6 months, then draw 10k of unemployment in the next 6 months. That will cover her while she does another year at becoming an RN. However, a better deal is 18 more months, becoming a sonogram tech, who can clear 60 per year. Do NOT bring a third world woman to the US, expecting her to work, if she can't pass the Toefl english test with flying colors. I would not KEEP her here if she would not study enough to do well on the military ASVAB test, but I'd not let her find OUT that it's the military test. Let her "think' it's the clep test, for skipping the first 2 years of college.

I have no clue, but the point I made about trying to date out of your league comes in to play quite a bit here. If you try to approach a hot 20-year-old at the mall in cebu and she's out of your league, just know the odds go way way down and a lot of guys are shooting for the moon with these girls if you approach a 30+ girl who is still cute but not as hot your chances go up exponentially

I used CF to filter out the ones I did not want to deal with like single Moms, or the scammers, right age gap etc.. She is a worker, a hard worker so I had to face the challenge of tempting her to quit her job and rely on my income so we can have some time together. This is a high risk move as we did not have much time to be together before having to make the big decision so in this scenario it is critical to filter out those that are not quite right! The next advice from me is to develop and talk about an exit strategy. If she quit her job and relays on you and now, you want her to leave what are you going to do? I checked into it and there is no non-marriage prenup agreement that would be binding. So in my case I verbally offered her 6 months worth of her salary in the event we should split up to give her an opportunity to get her financial life back together, and I would only give that to her on a monthly payment plan to make sure it does not just evaporate and then she is asking for more…. I am in the middle of all this now so we will see how it works out, but I will say this, it looks like I am one of the lucky ones that made a good choice right from the start…
