    I use this lens with the z6 and get great results nature shooting. It’s easy to carry, focuses fast and produces images that can be heavily cropped with good results

    I have heard very good things about this new af-p 70-300. I have an old af 70-300g that is screw drive and will not work on the z6 so I bought this one after looking about. Love the small size. Great to carry about.

    Thank You mate for such a good review on AF-P. I am still on my way to purchase this lens for my d750 ord700, for sports and artist performance shooting. Very useful and straight forward video. Once again thank U.

    thank for the video, this lens and Tamron 100-400,I choose which

      Personally...i've tried both in my local camera store in addition to the Tamron 70-210 f4. I walked away with the Nikon af-p 70-300mm.
      It was the cheapest among the 3. I felt was the fastest autofocus and the quietest. So it was an easy decision.

    Hi great video.
    I have an early version of this lens that hasn't got the afp focus or the E type aperture control. But i love the quality of the lens on my z6 i like the fact its only 1 stop between either end of the zoom 👍how quiet is the afp focusing on this lens? Also price on Amazon is now only £479
    Wondering if its worth a buy ?
    Would love a z mount version of this lens at f4 if possible 😀 do you think Nikon will do this in the next 12 months, if not should I get this? Thanks for reading this long comment.

      I have AF-P lenses and they perform very well. Completely silent, and incredibly fast. I recommend this for any Nikon. I would think Nikon will not release this in 2021 for Z mount.

    From a purely optical standpoint, which one did you like more? The Nikon or the Tamron?

    • @AvpStudios

      The Nikon stood out head and shoulders above the Tamron. It is worth noting though the Tamron I had was the cheaper lens, I have several Tamron lenses for my Sony full frame cameras and they are excellent lenses.

    I have a Z7 with this lens and Nikon Adaptor but I can't get the camera to work with the VR on the lens. Any pointers would be gratefully received.

    Is it good for Nikon d700 fx ?

    • @twaflyboy1
      @twaflyboy1 2 года назад

      Not the best for the Nikon D700, as it's a AF-P lens. There is some compatibility, but it's listed as "limited compatibility" by Nikon. The Nikon AF-S 70-300mm would be better for the Nikon D700. That's what I use on my D700's.

    is the lens work with Nikon Z50 as well? how is autofocus speed in it

    • @pauka13
      @pauka13 3 года назад +2

      it will work as well as it does on the z6. Just keep in mind that the 70-300 will be more like a 105- 450 due to the dx crop factor.(can be a good thing in wildlife photography) This lens has a dx version wich is cheaper.
