I went to Korea for NYE last years, 1 was back home in brisbane for 1 week and I booked another holiday for following years NYE but an extra 3 weeks. Incredible country.

I don't wanna be that nerd but I gotta chime in here. when you travel overseas, just look for the places with lots of locals eating there. I don't translate menus because half the fun is trying random stuff & being surprised. the best country I have been to and eaten in was hands down by far Singapore.
One thing I like about you Spanian is how much you love things, just seeing how amazed you were by the library shows what type of person you are, and you're someone who is grateful for the things you're able to do and experience, and it's great to watch, keep going brah.

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that 90 percent of couples, or those in groups of a pair seem to be disconnected from one another, on their phones, rather than actually talking to each other? I don't know if that is the norm in South Korea, or Asia in general but, the vibe I get is that most people seem to like keeping to themselves. From my experience travelling, though this is partly a culture thing that exists in all East Asian countries, in Korea it is taken to the extreme. During my time in Korea I largely reacted the same as Spanian, there is so much to do, you can consume your heart out and Seoul is a very futuristic city with awesome food and entertainment. Simultaneously though after a while I felt that there was a profound sense of loneliness and alienation in Korean society. I never fully could put my finger on why it felt that way, though what you're pointing out definitely plays a part.

I am Korean and I love these videos. Unfortunately, South Korean economy is going through very tough times right now and all the streets are very empty. But if you had come to Seoul before the Pandemic, you would have been blown away by the sheer size of the crowd in the streets. But those days of booming and buzzing are sadly over and now everything is very quiet.
We went last summer, stayed in the same area, its insane isn't it??!! The DMZ trip is cool too as long as its not raining too much as bits can get cancelled. Just a heads up the tunnel is really small! You got to try the fried chicken over there. Busan is a cool spot too!!

I am Korean and I love these videos. Unfortunately, South Korean economy is going through very tough times right now and all the streets are very empty. But if you had come to Seoul before the Pandemic, you would have been blown away by the sheer size of the crowd in the streets. But those days of booming and buzzing are sadly over and now everything is very quiet.
We went last summer, stayed in the same area, its insane isn't it??!! The DMZ trip is cool too as long as its not raining too much as bits can get cancelled. Just a heads up the tunnel is really small! You got to try the fried chicken over there. Busan is a cool spot too!!
