I have the Babylock Triumph and didn't know I could do this on a quilt binding. Thank you!

How do you join your binding? I noticed you started at the edge

Sergers are so fun for quilting.

How do you stich binding ends together so it lays flat?

Great Video. I have had my Pfaff Performance Icon for over a year but just got my Babylock Triumph serger and have not set it up yet.

The embroidered fruits and vegetables are so cute. Where did you get the designs?

What adjustments did you make to the Triumph, if any, to make that fusible thread feed nicely? I have trouble getting a good stitch with fusible thread.

Cool trick using wonderful and pulling extra thread to turn. Thx!

I never heard you mention the serger stitch you were using?

      4 thread Overlock

Does a quilt bound this way hold up under multiple washings? Just afraid that the fusible would breakdown.

The fusible threat is only there to keep the binding in place before you do the final stitch. The needle threads are the ones that hold everything together.

Good idea but how do you end the last join?

How did you connect the ends when serging

The same way you would if you were not using a serger. Get close and figure the remaining distance. Join at an angle and serge on.

@@AboveandBeyondCreativeSewing It would be very helpful if you were to show how it was done.

What size is the width of the binding in the project you are doing in this video? What are the settings for the three thread overlock stitch you are using?

It is 2-1/4. Use the settings for a 3 thread overlock
