Another helpful tip is to understand that you'll never feel ready to build a project, you won't know how to build every part of whatever you're coding, but as long as you know the basic syntax of what language you're coding in and you understand what you have to code, you can just google any problems you run into.
Highschool senior interested in pursuing Software Engineering. I am a little nervous to go into programming as an African American, as the lack of diversity can be off putting, but your videos are helping me figure out what I need to do/not do in order to navigate the tech industry. Love your videos!
Super helpful!! Healthcare has been a buzzword for me too. I’ve been in it for 5 years now, but tech has always been something I’ve studied on the side. These videos inspired to take the plunge and go for it. 👏🏼
my best guess is someone probably confused the place where he lived in with somewhere else, or had never even heard of that place before and cracked a joke about it or something. Hopefully he sees this and gives us the truth 🥺

@@TheTwizted hi I’m trying to figure out if I should major in computer software or business finance and since your already started what do you suggest also I’m 26 years old 🤨
@@larrywilliams6241 Hmm well man both are really good. It really depends what you wanna do I guess. Do you want to do corporate finance and make about 50-70k out of college and have a high ceiling or would you rather do software developing where you might start off making more than a finance major but have a lower ceiling since there isn’t much career progression after. It also depends where you want to live, the best paying program jobs are mainly west coast and east coast. Kinda the same for finance but every company needs finance people so you can find jobs in most places of the U.S
I couldn't agree more with the "Not needing to memorize anything" section. Problem solving and critical thinking are far more important than knowing an obscure function in a library you only use once a year.
Something I'd tag on is when you finally get your job, find that person who is the best coder in the company and learn as much as you can from him/her. My boss is the best programmer I have ever seen and I'm voluntarily taking lower pay at this job than other similar ones, just because I know I'm getting so much experience and knowledge from him. Finding a good programming mentor really changed my career, I'm far more valuable as an employee now than when I started
Just found your channel, I'm a big fan! Personal finance is hugee, and like everyone else, I wish I learned more about it earlier in my career. I don't recommend Dave Ramsey for personal finance, he gives advice from such a negative lens, and he is problematic in other ways. Another great RUclips channel here I recommend is One Big Happy Life, and they talk about personal finance from a lens of building wealth and living the life you want to live.
I just got my first job brother! I graduate on the 15th of May and I got my offer already and start work next Tuesday. I agree with everything you said. I wanna do videos like these / make a channel. Any tips on where to start?
After listening to pretty much every youtuber, I landed on python just to realize three months later that I'd be more interested in cpp so now I'm just gonna continue learning it and move on lol
A question i have would be how is family life in this career field? I'm studying general IT and web development via coursera and the odin project. I have grown tired of 12 hour swing shift manufacturing jobs.. working weekends, holidays, nights, and days.. I hope to get into the IT industry as a major career change with much more opportunity. Most of the entry level jobs i see say 8 hour days mon-fri.
Great video! I heard it’s better to complete a computer science degree in 5 years instead of 4 so you can gain more experience. Do you think it’s worth the time and money?
not necessarily, However by learning something like tensorflow.js you can create and train machine learning models in the Browser. That means that you can easily create a UI around it to be user friendly (with some html and css)
My opinion in this is that yes they do. At the end of the day you want to present your algorithm in a User friendly way. Web and Mobile apps give you that opportunity. Like if you develop a good backend that sorts data and gives some insight, you need graphs and charts to represent this to the user. Also I think machine learning models are not products per say but they help make the final product much better. Example AI helps youTube with recommendations.
Hello I'm looking forward to joining first year this September or January 2022 but I'm stranded I've to choose between US universities and UK universities to apply. I'd like to study in a place with a better advance to start up. So could you please suggest which country would be best and compare salaries and job opportunities that are in these two countries plus the policies that are placed on immigrants staying in these countries if you know of any

The diversity doesn’t matter at all as long as you have the skills. Don’t let a superficial thing hold back your mentality.
