Lots to see for being early yet 🙂 Interesting about the red ear slider turtle it was huge here in Ontario in the 1990s pet trade. Pet stores in Ontario alone sold hundreds of them and unfortunately when they get bigger and harder to look after people dump them and most survive and destroy habitat for everything else. You guys said Toronto like my mom says it lol she was born there.
Oh look at Sara with her dark brown hair!! This is the first "older video I've watched. Wearing her OCean City MD shirt, only about 10 miles from my house!
@@BritHikesOntario If you com back this way, be sure to visit Assateague Island National Seashore. Sand dunes, Forest Trails, Salt Marshes, wild horses. Only 15 minutes from Ocean City.
Thanks for the feedback, always open to being corrected on IDs. I think you're probably right. Unfortunately RUclips doesn't let me go in and add captions or anything so it will have to stay wrong lol.
Ah yes, Rondeau, my favorite place in the province to bird. The birding is on par with Pelee and it's not a crush of people. Have to do some of the work yourself, not just follow the crowds and reports.
Hey Chris, thanks for watching. Yep, Rondeau is probably my favourite provincial park for birding. Also because it has some excellent spots nearby... Keith McLean, Erieau Marsh, McGeachy Pond etc.. If you're interested, I have some newer videos from that area which would include Rondeau. Four Part Playlist here: ruclips.net/p/PLEV0eY3bW9UV-hqDbpGmf80VTiUjJWwAZ&si=GrsLxlzrkzce66iq
Wow, Stu! Love all your videos and now your new OPENER adds more to the content. Very creative and enjoyable.🦆💯
Thank you so much, that means a lot :)
Spring is coming, so the birds. 👍
Supposed to be good weather Sunday morning. Will hopefully see some movement! 🐦
@@BritHikesOntario it's high peak of spring migration here in Florida right now. 👍
Beautiful footage! Love it when I see a new video from you, it makes my day. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks very much Ken, means a lot.
Another Brit birder and I’ll be there myself in just under 3 weeks time 👍🏻
Awesome, sounds like you'll be there close to peak time! Think I'll be returning there a couple of weeks after you (but closer to Pelee).

Haha, luckily I was saying "Tronna" tongue-in-cheek.
I reckon this weekend might be quite good for migrants, Sunday is supposed to be a warm one.

That hoodie is from 4 or 5 years ago (before we did videos!) on a trip to mostly Delaware, but also parts of MD, DC, PA. Would love to come back.
