  • CSX Local Q768, lead by GP40-2 #6909 (ex Chessie/C&O #4406) and a slug unit built from a GP30, heads south at the Youghiogheny River bridge in McKeesport before passing through Elizabeth on Election Day 2008.

    Street running at its best. That would be awkward driving down the street and see a train coming.

    Yes, one can shoot from the sidewalk in McKeesport overlooking the bridge, it is safe as well, but usually just watch yourself since its not much of a friendly neighborhood. If you want more information to it, just let me know and I'll be glad to help

    Does this local run as far south as Newell yard? If so I've seen it with a caboose a time or two, which is rare these days.
