Hi Darren, let me know if you're still looking for crab cart, I have a suggestion that may suit. In relation to the vid, great content as always. Blanking is something of a reality in all types of angling so absolutely no need to apologise as far as I'm concerned. I just love seeing possible new places to fish or a reminder of marks I haven't been to in years. Keep the vids coming, I'll keep watching
Thanks Darren another great video Being new to the sport could you do more content on how to unhook a fish properly and how to handle different types of fish ( I know you need to catch them first haha ) but it would be a big help to us newbies
Absolutely Graham! I just have to catch some ! 🤣. I will do that my chum. There is a video on the channel on unhooking flatties, but I will do more and fish care too. 👍
12:24 behind you mate on the other side next to that moored boat, i had a tyne p.b flounder of 2 and a quarter pounds 41 cm :) nice memory and enjoyed the video mate keep up the good work. tight lines over the winter im hoping for a nice shore cod sometime
Hi Chris, Thank you for watching. I appreciate it very much. I will always show the good and bad sessions. I just enjoy being out. Fish are a bonus! Take care, my chum and tight lines.
@@northeastangling My sentiment exactly. I only came across your channel this weekend when looking for where to fish whilst I stay with the in-laws, so hopefully I'll be fully prepared for next time I'm up! Keep at it.
Great entertainment, Darren. Had to have a chuckle now & again, your face is a picture in a couple of places... thoughts of a very large... monstrous drop net for the cars! LOL. I may not always post, but watch every video, make a note of all the places you fish and drop on the TOMTOM. Been away in Norfolk for three weeks, fishing the Yare. Back in Cumbria this coming Friday for two weeks... not fishing this time. I'll have my laptop with me, just in case you get out and upload. Keep up the great work, my friend. 👍
Cheers Bob. If you can't laugh at yourself what can you laugh at ? 🤣 I always appreciate your comment and your support. I hope you caught your shoutout? All the best my friend.
Nice video again Darren, glad tae hear yer feeling better pal, PS if my fishing session is a last minute decision due to a weather windae opening up “Which has been most o the time this year” then it’s beylt eggs in ma tackle box 😂 Some amazing casts yer deein there 👌🏻 The wee grindee saved the blank 🎣🦀 Great stuff keep them comming freen!
Good to see you in better shape than your appearance on Steve's video - you looked like you were really suffering. These river marks look idea for a short session from the car. Thanks for sharing.
It was not a good idea to climb cliffs while unwell 😅. Yes, the river here is quite excessable, Phil. Best sport in the winter months . Great for quick after work sessions 👍
Another good video m,8 just wondering can u fish straight out the back of vehicle at this location M8 and have u got postcode or location as can't lump me gear as far now cheers ray admin from northeast fishermans locker and as far as your cart bait I normally get off a couple of lads Gary conlin from Sunderland or Mick from alreet Rigs and baits from Washington
Cheers Ray. Yes, you can fish literally from your car. Easy and accessible. Ne6 1bs. I used to use Alreet rigs and bait. Unfortunately, he let me down. Shame seemed a nice lad, and bait was canny.
corned beef & onion buns. flask coffee or flask bovril bag sweets, m8 takes chocolate bars as he is the catering manager on fishing trips, I provide the transport door to door service . fished same spot years ago also just further along spillers now all fenced off 😡 as usual video down to earth 👍
Thanks David, your making me hungry ! 🤣. Spot on, my friend. Your good to your mate doing door to door 👍. It's a canny spot, Tide too small and a bit early. I shall return. Thank you for watching my chum.
@@northeastangling i had a change of plan and tried cullercoats, but the water clarity was poor and i found out i need to get a new rod! ill try the fish quay in early mornings from now on. ive got some fake (unscented ) ragworm but i was wondering what other lures i should get for the conditions around here?
Hi Bob. Unless there are official signs to say you cannot fish , then yes. I fished there not too long ago and there were no signs. These do not include any signs the residents may put up off their own backs.

Nice meeting you in go outdoors, will let u know how the Tynemouth spot goes

Another great video Darren, how's your shoulder bearing up.
It's been great for a month or so, but it's niggling again. It's a compressed vertebrae in my neck that causes it, the little monkey!
couple of steak pies , flask of tea and chunky Kit Kats.
Alan, your spoilt!! 🤣🤣 right up my strasse that mind. Great combo. Who needs fish??? Thanks for watching my chum. 👍
Always gotta be pork scratchings. Stew in a food flask on a long day :-) enjoyed the video, thanks
