Another fresh evening session Darren quiet at the moment I think it seems for everyone. But as you said they will come. You didn't blank again really enjoyable watch. Tight lines 🎣🐟
Boring? No chance! Always good to be out, and good viewing for me since I won’t be out for a little while longer yet, nice little lead-on video to your next session on the other side of the river. Good viewing mate 🎣
Hi Darren, thanks for suffering for your sport with this clip it was Baltic i could see. Oh and my friend your clips are never boring. Chris. 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣
Hi, my chum. Thank you so much. It's really a far cry from my days fishing the rock edges of Northumberland in Snow, Sleet, and Rain with gale force winds! However, I am a little older and wiser now 🤣. Take care, and thank you for watching Chris 👍
I normally fished years back in Scotland where from originally now in North East of England , i fished into fresh water , fishing on the Lochs and odd time in rivers for sea trout which i caught a good few in my time with both bait , spinning and fly fishing which i took up back then as fly waters only often were taking over although later in season allowed bait also from certain date . But thinking back was silly out at start of trout seasons which were end February or start March back then , and if water was fishable and not frozen over ( Often was iced over ) if not then was still cold to the bone , but early cold seasons it was a good time for catching a lot of fresh trout and always caught seemed more fish early time of seasons when cold but u just had to put up with freezing cold air as we did back in the day , out in the country side at start of seasons and again later in seasons .. Anyhow watched some of your videos and more to view and enjoying . Thanks and good luck and tight lines in the future .
I'm watching your video, it's currently 11.10am, the wind and rain is hammering here in lower Weardale and it's bloody cold. The forecast for tomorrow is a lot better, so I may get to whet a line. Keep making the videos.
Good to see you back out. Like others have commented, storm Ashley is blowing hard up here in the NE of Scotland. RUclips n Rig making day me thinks. 😅
3 months ago I lost 4 leaders in 4 casts in a match 30 meters to your right in longbenton match. Think a rope. Had to fish 10 yards out. Managed 2nd in the match down the side 😂 6 casts long, 6 lost rigs.
Unfortunately, it is going to happen. Definitely getting heavier, though. If the clarity was better I would dive it and score for all the loot 🤣🤣. Cheers for watching. Appreciate it. Tight lines .
Take no notice of the forecast wind direction, it only ever blows up the river or doon the river and 20mph more than it says 😂 I’ll be trying the river out for a few codling this week!
one can only try darren, you can have the best bait in the world but if the fish ant there nowt you can do about it, you going on about the cold get ya jacket on. most to the river tyne marks are just a wind tunnel at times, BA car park cold / windy on the best of days
Not boring at all, very helpful :-) Just gathering gear and getting ready to give sea fishing a go. Fished freshwater for trout and pike when younger but apart from a tiny bit of squid and herring in OZ, no sea fishing at all. I liked lures, moving and spinning and the rod I've got suits that I think, it's a 8" 10-40g. I want to fish for the plate and so something plentiful like whiting would be perfect. Do you think it's worth flinging a few plastics down by St. Peters or would I be better with a baited rig? Thanks man
Always bait Charlie. The larger Whiting will start to show in the next few month's. Squid, mackerel and worm will get you lots of action. Thank you for watching .Tight lines 🙂
@@northeastangling Just got back from by St. Peters, first session on the Tyne 🙂 Had one bite but it got off. Did manage to land 7-8 crabs though haha. Had a blast, hopefully next time I'll land dinner.
Well done mate. Looked baltic!!!!
Cheers Steve. Just getting soft. I will sharp grow my winter skin! 👌

You're right there David. The cold was only on my mush bud. I could of put a balaclava on but I probably would of looked a bit dodgy 😅🤣🤣
