That's a real trip down memory lane. Thanks! 40 years ago I was a 3rd Dan TaeKwonDo student/teacher and would do most of those in a given week. Now I'm 70 and yet never a day goes by that I don't reminisce on these. I stopped because I had 3 collapsed lungs over 2 years, and couldn't maintain the pace.
Thank you for your kind words. Sorry to hear about your injury. Wish I could have trained with you back in the day . Take care
Glad to see the use of the ball of the foot vs. shin.
Very impressive !!!! 200 kicks wow.
It's so satisfying to watch... Love it!
(Shotokan practitioner from Hungary) OSS!
Thank you for your nice comment
I currently train kickboxing mostly but These kicks are one of reasons I would like to learn tang soo do. Great video! :)
thank you for the compliment. where do you live, i'll see if there's a class near your location
That diagonal kick is especially hard to master. It's not a natural movement for the hip & knee. Of course, they all take much effort & practice to master. Demonstrating the entire list is very impressive. Most impressive of all is Mr. Everlast. He stood up to all the punishment!
Diagonal Kick was the kick that I never thought i'd master, as a colour belt I hated it but when I started teaching I had to get good at it and now I love it, but it was a long process, thanks for the compliment
After seeing you kick Van Damme would be very jealous.
This guy is good.
Thank you sir
Good job
thank you
Beautiful. Congratulations.
Thank you so much, if you enjoyed this, please feel free to check out some of the other Kicktionaries I have done
I like that spin back kick feint to axe kick;) great vid thanks
Thank you very much, hoping to make an updated version in the summer, so look out for that one
Amazing! The best kicking I've ever seen.
Thank you so much, that means the world to me, hope you find the videos inspiring for your own training
I thought *Hapkido* had the most kicks but I saw a few new variations here.
Thanks for sharing!
👍
I think Hapkido got most of it's kicks from Tang Soo Do.
Impresive!! Awesome techniques and great video! I really envy you ankles' strength too haha
Thank you for the compliment. Working on a new one now, it's my knees that I wish were stronger. I can't do as many of them in succession as I would like so try and limit myself now to 5 at a time.
I do Tang soo do. I am black belt. I am from India
TANG SOO 👊🏽
Man, I remember learning the outside to inside kicks. The day I was able to finally get up enough power to snap a board was one of the many moments of pride throughout my training. I was young, but did earn my 1st degree Dan from Grandmaster Giacobbe at 11 years old.
I met that gentleman, glad you enjoyed the video
@@HOVTangSooDo I absolutely enjoyed it, your kicks are text book and anyone learning Tang Soo Do would find your videos extremely helpful!
P.s. grandmaster giacobbe is very intimidating, yet a very kind caring person. I'm proud to have trained and earned my black belt under him, as well as having him over see my cho Dan testing and initiation. Tang Soo!

Were The Wales Kids kickology i see this fucker all the time?
Absolutely spectacular... are you a Master Instructor Sir? You totally look like one. Congratulations and thank you for this stunning video.
I am a third dan instructor. Thank you for the compliment. Really appreciate the support
Excellent kicks Sabumnim
Komapsumnida. Please feel free to share about or if you like make a recommendation for a kick tutorial if you like any of the kicks on the video
Very nice, Gus.
wow! outstanding 👏 👏 👏
thank you
Wow. Its very evident that in addition to Karate, TSD absorbed alot of kicking from Northern Chinese shaolin styles that are very kick oriented. Brilliantly done. 🇺🇸🙏
Thank you .If it's powerful it's Japanese, if it's beautiful it's Chinese and if it's relaxed it's Korean
@@HOVTangSooDo Thats why if I were to train in an eastern striking style of traditional martial arts, it would be TSD. They seem to encompass everything. The power and structural curriculum of Japan, the fluid beauty of China and the relaxed efficiency of Korea all in one style. And this is coming from an MMA trained BJJ purple belt. Like BJJ, TSD will keep you busy in addition to it being an effective martial art. Sad its not very readily available in my area. The closest school is 3 hours away.
@@fartsare2023 I like Martial Arts that embrace all movement instead of limit it. Love your attitude and I hope you can find a school that fills all your needs. Welcome to do any online training with me anytime if I can help with anything
nice skills :)
thank you
Las patadas son espectaculares!..
gracias
So good 👍
Thank you, hope you enjoy all the other parts that i've done also
Muito bom, obrigado por postar.

Komapsumnida. Im glad you enjoyed it
Nice 👍
Thank You
Impressive!!

0:17 "Insert only Muay Thai has jumping knee"
Surely the whole world of Martial Arts couldn't have missed out such a useful techniques. My instructor gave us this technique since as long as I can remember training
I am one of SBN Rosillo’s students, recently got my black belt, love your channel
Thank you very much for the support. You are very lucky to have Master Rosillo as your instructor, a very good friend of mine. we are putting out a video soon looking for participants if you want to be involved
Just quality 😀
Thank you
Hey I have to say those kicks are not easy to learn it takes a lot of dedication I have been taking tang so do for 11 years going on 12 yrs and all the those kicks but I can probably do 1/3 of them. My hat off to you and tang soo!!!
Thank you, it's taken a long time to learn these kicks for me too, but I find the challenge of them helps me to push myself to new challenges and is a good analogy that a martial art journey is infinite
It's very simular to Taekwondo. So many variations. Very good.
TSD is the original style before TKD
Nice!
Greetings.
Hello there, welcome to the channel, hope you enjoy it
I was on the fence about learning this style, but not anymore!!!
This has made me very happy to hear, I hope you find a good instructor and school to train at. Any help you ever need , want you to know that this channel is always here for you
Wales Tang Soo Do Awesome! I’ll help spread the word! Thanks 👊🏽😎💯
@@carlosdelgado1412 appreciate it
Good
Very nice job! As a fellow Tang Soo do practitioner I appreciate seeing someone put in the kind of practice you have to be able to do the kicks as well as you did. I started in WTSDA ( when I was 20 and in my 30 years I've been able to improve tremendously on my kicks and generate more power by doing one little adjustment "Chambering". Not in WTSDA anymore but that's a different story and just chose a different route no biggie.
I'm a huge fan of kicks and was able to take my I/O crescent kick to a new level and if was to give you any advice on these techniques it would to chamber the knee of your kicking leg longer than you did in the video. If you are kicking with right foot lead with the right shoulder as you spin, lifting your right knee high bent with your foot straight down as you come around and then snap the right foot out at your target catching it with the knife edge of your foot. Using your whole body in your kick because the last action that happens is your kick coming out. When I first learned this kick it was with a straight leg and I noticed pain in my hips and knee when I would hit a heavy bag. Not anymore as my head, shoulder, then knee is leading me and it's not a solid leg (like a wheel kick) coming out it's a whip! Speed and technique equals power not a baseball bat.
Nice job though Sir Tang Soo!!!
totally agree about i to out kick, i have a tutorial on it where i break down that very motion. Thank you for support, appreciate it
I do think pseudo-and I am only a rideable and I would be scared to go against you
I would like to bow to you and say Tang Soo! (I took Tang Soo Do karate.)
Thank you I am bowing back, what do you study now? glad you enjoyed the video
That’s awesome. I am apart of Region 8 in WTSDA. What region are you from?
I'm from Region 11 (Europe) nice to meet you, Where is Region 8? You're welcome to come train with us anytime you fancy travelling to Wales

Dude...
To improve your back kicks You must elevate the hip of your kicking leg by pushing it from the ground. A tip from a old Sabonim and almost 30 years TKD practicioner.
thank you , i'll work on that, do you have any videos or tutorials
does tang soo do lower their hands while kicking?
Not for basic kicks but I have obviously developed bad habits
what the heck was front kick 28??
All the kicks are written in the description, it's a spinning snap kick spinning forward instead of backward. Hope that helps
0:51 there a name for this kick in tkd?
we call it handplant roundhouse but never trained TKD sorry
It's the same as Tang Soo Do a lot of TKD kicks have similar names
@@connorlilley2577 is there a difference between the two styles as far as like, tang soo you typically kick with the ball of your foot. Is Tai Kwan Doo similar in that way? I originally took Tai Kwan Do, but I was very very young, and thankfully my parents realized I was in a "buy your belt" type place. So at 6 years old I started Tang Soo Do with Master Ted Perian and around 11 years old I was tested, initiated, and had earned my 1st degree Dan under Grandmaster Dominic Giacobbe. I miss it dearly, I'm 35 now and haven't trained in years.
@@patmccrotch5373 Tae Kwon Do and Tang Soo Do as I said are very similar but there's a few differences such as kicks and forms it's easier to look it up than it is for me to explain it to be honest mate
@@connorlilley2577 i got you, mainly I guess I was concerned with the part of the foot you try to connect with. Apologies, I probably worded it weird.
Did you know the Cobra Kai fighting style originated in Tang Soo do
Of Course, all the best kickers come from Korea and have Tang Soo Do lineage
If it is a knee is it really considered a kick
I do as it uses your leg to knock someone out. the Korean translation is Mooroop Cha Ki, same as the others which is why i included it
1:13
Kick boxing Korean ?
I think kick boxing was invented after tang Soo do
Great..but no use outside 😂
We have cold weather here in Wales so I exclusively train inside. I hope i never need to use anything outside.
I Don't thing Tang Soo Do can kick better than Taekwondo..
Even Diagonal Kick vs Twist Kick?
who came here from cobra kai?
The Stunt Co-ordinator Pat Johnson, plus Creese is based on Chuck Norris
This is not real tang soo do. No power and the side kick is 100% fail. The pivot foot MUST be 180* directly in line with target
Sorry sir, i'll try better in the future
@@HOVTangSooDo I'm sorry also. I'm a direct 2nd generation student of wom kook Lee. 5th Dan and retired from teaching due to the crazy time... What the hell happened to the old styles. If you honestly want to fix your technique you need to look at the art during Vietnam era. If you have any technical questions I'll be happy to answer.
I just did a video about Ramsey Dewey tkd recently. I throw the sidekick on the video it's very clear. This is the only way to do the kick properly. Everything else is a variation that is absolutely wrong. If you really care, watch the clip then go research. Please try to prove me wrong.
@@damianneve I'll check out clip
He couldnt hurt a fly with all those kicks but it looks kinda good! Im talking from experience, been wasting time on those fancy kicks but they cant do much harm. :P
I would never wish to intentionally hurt anyone, these kicks are just there to challenge myself. I promise you they are well worth my time
wanna take the place of the dummy? let's see how many seconds you'd last.
@@stanley2004 Hahaha, you don't know me so stfu dude!
Terrible music!!!!!!
What track would you have used ? This song has a lot of personal meaning to me
It’s a traditional art. It’s not about you…it’s about the art.
that's basic shit what a waste of 3 years
Do you think i'm ready for anything more advanced?
Jealous perhaps?
what bunch bullshito. christ i want to come to karate class, not cheerleading practice.
