My Godmother Shelline had an Emerson (Funai) 2003 or 2002 emerson tv vcr and it worked when she lived in that apartment in mount horeb but by the time in 9-10/2011, when i spent the night there when she moved back to south wayne, she told me the vcr portion was having a tape eating problem and told me not to use it. I remember when scott sold the house in 7/2012, we took it to the donation box so they would take it to st. Vincent de paul. I miss that combo despite it being funai. I liked the blue/turquoise/cyan display on it.
@@andrewsmoviecorner345 one day it could happen the mode switch may go bad on it causing the vcr portion to cause lots of problems. Good to hear it still plays!
Never trust funai VCRs, they are the most infamous for destroying VHS tapes or not even lasting that long, I'd recommend something that's not made by funai.
@@andrewsmoviecorner345 Well as long as it works fine, I guess it's okay. Also speaking of TV VCR combo I was able to obtain a Panasonic TV VCR combo with the original box for $20 during the last days of Saturday's market being in business.
@@andrewsmoviecorner345 depends on how dirty the mode encoder switch gets over time. Fisher Rachel had the same emerson my godmother had since 2011 but in summer 2017 it started eating tapes and despite that, he played his mlp frindship is magic homemade vhs on it and THANK GOD IT DID NOT EAT IT WHEN HE DID THE VIDEO BECAUSE HE WOULD'VE BEEN SO MAD IF IT DID. So on 8/5/17, he got a new sharp tv vcr. He put the old one in the back bathroom.

Pretty Soon, im gonna order that same combo with the remote separate for 129 dollars on ebay. The remote alone is 17.
My mom ordered a emerson EWC1303 TV/VCR with the remote last saturday and will be here maybe today or monday or tuesday.
This little TV could be useful for old games or hooking your DVD player on it.
I got this exact tv and it turns on and then won't take the tapes and then turns off by itself
Just wondering did you need to do any service on this considering that it is a funai built TV? Usually the mode switch goes bad in funai stuff

I usually don't trust Funai, but this TV VCR is one of few Funai products that has no problems whatsoever.
