- Part 3 of 3. Our Navajo Nation President Russell Begaye was at this event and we were hopeful that he would hear what we had to say but he left before Jay and Moses came on. His administration is behind the roundup and slaughter of our horses, although he did rescind horse hunt that the Navajo Nation Dept of Fish and Wildlife had already had in the works until we and our former group Indigenous Horse Nation Protector Alliance stopped it after we leaked that plan to the public and due to the overwhelming response from horse lovers worldwide opposing the hunt he cancelled it in only 3 days after we posted it on Facebook. Unfortunately our group was hijacked by non Indigenous people and the horse round ups continue.
One day we will be free again 🙂

My family's horse's were rounded up, and haul straight 2 the auction and that same nite we're loaded up again n sent 2 Mexico 4 slaughter!
The horse'z were on private land!
The sad thing about this was my family wasn't given tym 2 present ownership documentation of the horse'z!
I wud so like 2 have the Navajo Nation pay 4 there wrong doing!!!!!
Why would they be in favor of roundup/hunting/slaughter of horses? Who benefits?
Ya,they try to still ,round up our horses, illegally...Gila River Reservation!!!but we catch you.you don't know our boundaries of the R ez, you can't just go and take our wild horses.THEY live where they live.. lm disgusted by this..know your boundaries when you move to Arizona. Don't think you ca n drive where you want. Your surrounded by Reservations. GILA,SALT,THOHONO...RESPESPECT THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU!!
