Nadan Kozhi Curry | നാടൻ കോഴി കറി | Kerala Style Chicken Curry

This traditionally this chicken curry was slow cooked in earthen / clay pots . An excellent combination with Kappa( tapioca) and Matta rice. For the ease of cooking, here I made this curry in a pressure cooker.
Ingredients
Oil -----------------------------2tbsp
Coconut slices-------------- 1/2 c
Salt---------------------------- 1/4 tsp
Turmeric powder----------- 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves ------------------Few
For grinding:
Garlic-------------------------- 20 cloves
Ginger-------------------------- 2" piece
Green chilli ---------------------1
Shallots------------------------- 10
Shallots --------------------------1/2 c
Coriander powder --------------3 tbsp
Kashmiri chilli powder---------- 2 tbsp
Garam masala -------------------1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder---------------- 1/4 tsp
Curry leaves ----------------------few
Chicken 1 -------------------------( 850 g)
Salt ---------------------------------1-11/2 tsp
Pepper powder-------------------- 1/2 tsp
For tempering:
Oil ------------------------------------1 tbsp
Fenugreek seeds------------------4
Mustard seeds---------------------- 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves --------------------------few
Dry chilli -------------------------------1
Asafoetida powder.------------------1 big pinch
