I feel so sorry for Richard Castaldo because he didn't ask to be paralyzed or to end up homeless or be stricken with a severe MERSA infection. It seems as though bad luck and misfortune follows Richard wherever he goes. I'm not entirely familiar with MERSA or what it does to the body; but what I fear is that Richard might suffer a stroke severe enough to leave him as an invalid by robbing him of his ability to speak or feed himself. What really pisses me off is that Richard's family screwed him over financially. Donations were put into a trust fund for Richard after the shooting to help him live a new life as a person in a wheelchair, but his family hasn't allowed Richard to see even one red cent of the money. Fellow Columbine survivor Anne Marie Hochhalter was also financially screwed over by her family. Anne Marie was basically put through the wringer after the shooting; being paralyzed from the shooting, emotionally struggling with the suicide of her mother, and the stress of media intrusion.
I can never of imagined the nightmare trying to escape this shooting. I was a freshmen. Its fresh in my memory because the shooters did use aol i did too when i was 14. It bums me out that my dads old computer broke down. No doubt nobody wanted them to do this like i said in a previous post. To those that are considering pulling a gun on just anybody. Think before you act. Listening is a skill. Dylan was looking for a gf but he had a gf? So many holes in this case and missed timings. I hope he is healing from his trauma from actually being inside there. If this was all over some girl it makes the reader even more disappointed.

I was rather surprised in 2016 when Anne Marie had decided to forgive Dylan's mother Sue Klebold and even wrote an open letter to her on Facebook that was of forgiveness instead of condemnation. Anne Marie explained that her decision to forgive Sue Klebold was the result of realizing that holding onto all of the anger she had was doing nothing for her aside from weighing her down. Rachel Scott's mother Beth Nimmo even met Sue Klebold in person and said that she relied on her faith to forgive Sue and asked God what she should ask Sue. Beth explained that God told her to ask Sue about who Dylan was prior to April 20, 1999.
