Julius Peppers is a complete beast and seems to be a decent guy here despite all the negative stories we hear about him....he doesn't look that big for an NFL player though. Just goes to show how bodybuilding is so different from training for a sport.
i haven't specifically seen him but know that he does come in the off season. they are doing an NFL Combine training session right now and there are loads of top notch college players there - they are HUGE!!!
man this guy is huge! he is someone I would not want to piss off. lol, but I heard he was a cool dude in reality. Hope he does awesome this season. Go luck Peppers, and Go Panthers!
i undergo physical therapy at PLEX, where this tape was filmed. it is GREAT what Danny, Apryl and the team do to get athletes like Julius and every day peons like me in top shape!
@asacestt having a good base of power is essential, and he has that already..he works on his explosiveness and dexterity because thats what you need as a football player..making quick moves and being able to apply most of his power in a split second
The Johnson Space Center makes NASA prominent in HOUSTON. The PALINdrome 2002 NFL Draft saw the HOUSTON Texans pick QB David CARR #1 overall. He would eventually become the CAROLINA PANTHERS teammate of the draft's #2 overall, Julius Peppers. Peppers inked a free agent deal with his 2nd NFL team, the CHICAGO Bears in March 2010. That same month, CARR became a member of the San Francisco 49ers under HOUSTON-born head coach Mike SINGLEtary, who played for the CHICAGO BEARS; Baylor BEARS in college
@ballinballer03 wouldnt pay him!? where u get your info from? he made over 1.2 mil a game his last year with the panthers dude! he was the highest paid panther!
Peppers has been like that.Since he came into the leauge not just last year.Plus check out Scot folwers article. He counted how many plays Peppers was doubled and it was not that many.
Julius Peppers probably has played an NFL game in SAN FRANCISCO, though the Carolina Panthers in the NFC WEST with one game there per year vs. then-divisional rival SF 49ers ceased the year Peppers joined the league: 2002. Peppers likely hasn't been to the Loading Dock at 1525 Mission, near KENneth armBRISTER at 1045 MISSION. Like Julius Peppers, DE KENtwan Balmer (b. 10/15/86) of Weldon, NC played for the UNC Tar Heels; Balmer was drafted by the SF 49ers with the 29th pick in 2008
Controlled motion and balance is as important as raw power, just as maintaining flexibility is essential to avoid injury and enable more fluid movement. Too much muscle mass meanwhile can be detrimental to your speed, burst and fluidity. Hence why most HB's have a target weight, rather than just jamming on another twenty or thirty pounds of muscle.
Julius FRAZIER Peppers was born Jan. 18, 1980 when JAMES Earl CARTER was president. Boxer Joe FRAZIER was born in BeauFORT, SC and Michael John Smith--the pilot for Space Shuttle Challenger's doomed 1/28/86 mission--was born April 30, 1945 in BEAUfort, seat of CARTERet County, NC. While the U.S. Navy found CHALLENGER's crew cabin, the U.S. Coast Guard's "cold weather season", which brings rougher seas, ends April 30--Michael J. Smith's birthday. Challenger broke apart 73 seconds after liftoff
Peppers is now 300 lbs. I would love to see someone from Atlanta Fire Company line up in front of this Beast. That's why he's so durable because of this type training.
Peppers is one of the most supremely gifted athletes I've ever seen but when you compare this "workout" to a player like JJ Watt's it's no mystery why Watt is able to play almost an entire game at %110 and why Peppers is known for taking plays off. Talent is not a replacement for hard work. When it gets combined with hard work and preparation then you have a special player.
Word. Angelo blew his budget on a 30 year old DE and didn't leave $5 M for a safety or a guard. And we need a #1 WR and a CB ! Peppers and Butter better be good ...
You serious....Jerry Jones is the salary cap master...he'll just throw a big signing bonus and give a lengthy contract thats prorated...Peppes and Ware will be unstoppable!
@ballinballer03 nah, thats not what i heard at all. Not saying your wrong, but i heard he was basically forced out of the panthers. he played for carolina teams his whole life. Your probably right though, NFL cant really make teams trade players
Actor Brian KERwin played Challenger astronaut Michael J. Smith 1990's TV movie "Challenger". Surname KERwin begins sounding "kur". Adding "R" to the KER word root makes KERR, which is pronounced CAR, like NFL QB David CARr, who went #1 overall in the 2002 NFL Draft. Peppers was #2. KERwin starred in starred in EDward FRANKlin ALbee's "The Goat, or Who Is SYLVIA?" KERR is a prominent political name in North Carolina. John Kerr Jr. (1811 1879) was a Congressional Representative b. FEB. 10, 1811
NFL DE Julius PEPPERS isn’t related to nightclub PEPPER'S advertised at 1701 N. Laurent in the Jan. 10, 1987 edition of The Victoria (Texas) Advocate, when Peppers was six years old. PEPPERS may get to terrorize Philadelphia Eagles QB Kevin Kolb when the Eagles visit his Chicago Bears on 11/28/10 for a 1 PM game. Kolb was born in VICTORIA, TX and was 2 years old on Jan. 10, 1987; he played high school football for the StePHenville High School Yellow Jackets in the seat of Erath County, Texas
I'm 11 years old, 6'9" 317 lbs and still growing. I bench 550 lbs, squat 650 for 8 reps, power clean 360 for 5 reps, and run a 4.1 40 yard dash. I played on varsity when I was 9 years old and I got a 5.0 GPA being in AP Calculus, AP U.S. History, AP Language Composition, AP Human Biology, Honors Marketing and AP Human Geo when I was 8 years old. I'm currently in the process of signing a 5 year, $120 contract with the Miami Dolphins, they want me to keep Jake Long in line, little bitch.
Space Shuttle Challenger broke apart 73 seconds after liftoff on 1/28/86, it's unrelated to Julius Frazier Peppers & the UNC Tar Heels beating the Auburn Tigers 16-10 in the Peach Bowl in ATLANTA on Dec. 31, 2001 or first-ever travel to ATLANTA 16 days later on WWHB civil rights icon Dr. Martin Luther King's 73rd birthday. He was based in ATLANTA at the height of his global prominence. Michael J. Smith (246-68-2102) piloting CHALLENGER could evoke "not accustomed to being challenged" themes
I completely agree with you. Unfortunately, a lot of professional teams only go by statbooks and seldomly by the tapes. But for reals. I agree with you and money29. It makes it harder for a DE to kill the quarterback when one is being double and triple teamed. Thus, when a DE is being double/trippled team by the other team DOESN'T that say something bout the DE's reputation? ;)
i guess u were dreaming.i mean he has never signed any extension and he has just declared he's going to be free agent next april. I feel like jerry jones has a plan to bring him in town.
This was one of the first 3 videos I think I ever watched on RUclips.
I used to always watch this!!
this is my baby, your talent and physical ability amazes me! Congrats on everything! Dont forget all of your fans in Nash County NC...your home.
best defensive player in the nfl hands down, even being double teamed almost every play
Julius Peppers, future Hall of Famer, respect 💪.
Julius Peppers is a complete beast and seems to be a decent guy here despite all the negative stories we hear about him....he doesn't look that big for an NFL player though. Just goes to show how bodybuilding is so different from training for a sport.
I went to the same high school that he did and have met him a few times. Great guy!
i haven't specifically seen him but know that he does come in the off season. they are doing an NFL Combine training session right now and there are loads of top notch college players there - they are HUGE!!!
What a beast this guy is!!! Probably my favorite defensive linemen in the NFL although I'm a diehard Packers fan here in Wisconsin
Little did you know he would end up playing for them lol
this guy is just a force of nature. you can't stop julius peppers
man this guy is huge! he is someone I would not want to piss off. lol, but I heard he was a cool dude in reality. Hope he does awesome this season. Go luck Peppers, and Go Panthers!
Glad to have you back Pep!
Back after my guy made the hall of fame. You deserve it bro
pep we need u my dude. come to training camp. lets get it this year
I knew he was not going to NEW ENGLAND. Great move, now it makes the NFC South MORE COMPETITIVE this upcoming season. Can't wait.
He comes off as a big, happy, wide-eyed, kid. . . . and that is so refreshing to see in a pro athlete these days.
this is like a preschool workout. i like the airplane motions with the 3 lb dumbell...
Julius Peppers is a MAN BEAST!
Julius Peppers IS THE MAN
i undergo physical therapy at PLEX, where this tape was filmed. it is GREAT what Danny, Apryl and the team do to get athletes like Julius and every day peons like me in top shape!
Welcome to New England, Julius!
this must be from the UNC days. dude is a whole lot bigger now.
PEP is my favorite player love this guy I IDOLIZE HIM ALOT
i love that he's got this goofy grin on his face like the whole training video
i work out there too...some of the people that come in here are freaking beasts
Welcome back Optimus
Loved this vid in high school. Class of 2011! Lol
@asacestt having a good base of power is essential, and he has that already..he works on his explosiveness and dexterity because thats what you need as a football player..making quick moves and being able to apply most of his power in a split second
That guy is too unreal. The way he moves is like a wide receiver. You would never guess he is in the line.

he is huge but the camara angle made him look so much bigger than the trainer. GO PANTHERS!
I watched Peppers his entire time in Carolina. Please trust me when I say.He takes plays off.But he is a great player I will not denie that
@ballinballer03 wouldnt pay him!? where u get your info from? he made over 1.2 mil a game his last year with the panthers dude! he was the highest paid panther!

He makes hitting that blocking sled look EASY.

A pissah sighting on RUclips! My day is now complete! ;oD

@higginbotham31 Same here. Let's hope Cutler will differ more than 1 between his TD's and INT's this year.
Peppers is now 300 lbs. I would love to see someone from Atlanta Fire Company line up in front of this Beast. That's why he's so durable because of this type training.
The Monsters Of The Midway will be in full effect in 2010
so happy he plays for da bears
@Tool46x2 lol.. i dont think he signed up to be an english teacher or anything
What team should Pep go?
every team will run right at him after watching this
Thanks for the Video :)

Watt would be lucky if he lasts half as long as Peppers has in the NFL.
The Panthers sure screwed up letting him go, but I'm happy for him that he's finally playing for a good team.
resistance training is the way to go.
he is a panther and Im sure you will realize that this season if you havent yet
Word. Angelo blew his budget on a 30 year old DE and didn't leave $5 M for a safety or a guard. And we need a #1 WR and a CB ! Peppers and Butter better be good ...
Reggie white actually played 15 seasons.. and julius has had 5 good seasons.. 1 he was injured
yes, 283 lbs is "skinny"
@pantherspride18
Who is the Carolina QB again? Oh yeah, I forgot, Matt Moore!!!! Hilarious...
wow hes actually alot smaller than i thought he was
yea nd a freak athletic
looks so wrong in a bears jersey. when he retires and goes to the HOF he will be remembered as a panther not a bear.
@vanbastin1 how is it wrong
You serious....Jerry Jones is the salary cap master...he'll just throw a big signing bonus and give a lengthy contract thats prorated...Peppes and Ware will be unstoppable!

@higginbotham31 Yup. Kind of sad watching him cry at the press conference. lol.

to make the HOF he'll probably have to make a superbowl. which he'll do as a bear
I'm praying he's going to Dolphins. New England got everybody :-(
I see a 49ers trade happening!
Look at Julius Peppers cousin he runs 4.23 in the 40 yard dash his name is William Speed Barnes check him out
yea i think you're right, they probably made him 6'7" so he sounded bigger, not that 6'6" is small haha.

I feel like jerry jones has a plan to bring him in town.

@GWhiz99 What is your point?
What about Osi? You can't forget about Osi man.

Sorry u got Richard Seymour and the gang. I think they are fine.

Dwight Freeney had only 5 ½ sacks because teams where double teaming him all season long.
im 15, 6'00 215, play RT for my highschool
I am in the same position Julius is in so i am traing
Those are big words, Peppers is a great DE but i wouldnt go as far as saying better than Simeone Rice, Strahan or Freeney but he is up their.
