We pay an extortionate amount of council tax and get sod all for it.
Landlords who own rental homes already pay tax on any profits. If labour are going to further tax the landlords then rents can only go up and add to inflation. We do not want landlords pulling out of the rental market. This will be a disaster.

After rule changes, many landlords divested themselves of property, it didn’t even make a dent in property prices, they still rose. Because of uncontrolled immigration, divorce and family growths there is still huge demand for properties and enough properties cannot be built fast enough to cope with demand. If all landlords sold up, there would still be an insufficient number of properties to satisfy demand. The only ones that would be affected would be those who, for whatever reason, cannot buy and we already see the effects i.e. fewer landlords = fewer homes = ever higher rents. Ironically, the biggest drivers of house building was buy to let landlords, they took away the tax advantages and wonder why buy to let landlords stopped buying.

@@alg7115 Yes, sadly. Labour loves the vocal groups, those who take to social media, march, and protest in their favour. If you work, you have far less time to do so or care to do so. The workers might outnumber the others, but there is no voice or representation because we are busy.
A few thousand of them can easily seem to be millions, and as such, Governments tend to give in. The only way most of us can display our likes and dislikes is through the vote.
It would be nice if Reform won, but the fact of it is, the blue vote is split. The Tory party will crash and burn because of that split and the same split means Refom will be lucky to pick up one seat, and no doubt by the following GE, be another UKIP.
Nigel should have ran fully in the last GE rather than pull people. I know he was worried about Labour, but it would have at least been a base to build on, even if he had one or two seats.

You couldn't even buy certain essentials like clothes or kitchen ware. Just one example of the control that will come under a Labour government

Therefore more children to look after under the services that are already under immense strain. Don't think things will go back to the way they were if you vote them back in. Progressive taxation are the words Labour use to prioritise minorities while the blancos fund but get no benefit. Fuel, tv licence, council tax all rose above inflation under the previous left wing Labour regime. Labour used standing charges on energy, broadband to redistribute wealth.
It's no cars which scares me... I am disabled but missed full mobility by two points, I rely on my car to leave the house, but would no way be able to afford an electric one...I'm stuffed on that point alone

They may get a majority, but this will be one of the lowest turnouts. Macron won a majority on only 25% turnout. Which is ridiculous.
