@@hayleylongster4698. You’d to think so but it doesn’t quite work that way. After rule changes, many landlords divested themselves of property, it didn’t even make a dent in property prices, they still rose. Because of uncontrolled immigration, divorce and family growths there is still huge demand for properties and enough properties cannot be built fast enough to cope with demand. If all landlords sold up, there would still be an insufficient number of properties to satisfy demand. The only ones that would be affected would be those who, for whatever reason, cannot buy and we already see the effects i.e. fewer landlords = fewer homes = ever higher rents. Ironically, the biggest drivers of house building was buy to let landlords, they took away the tax advantages and wonder why buy to let landlords stopped buying.

A few thousand of them can easily seem to be millions, and as such, Governments tend to give in. The only way most of us can display our likes and dislikes is through the vote.
It would be nice if Reform won, but the fact of it is, the blue vote is split. The Tory party will crash and burn because of that split and the same split means Refom will be lucky to pick up one seat, and no doubt by the following GE, be another UKIP.

Raise Council Tax - so raising tax then and Council Tax is already horrendous in terms of annual cost - it's unmanageable - so Labour no better.

Progressive taxation are the words Labour use to prioritise minorities while the blancos fund but get no benefit. Fuel, tv licence, council tax all rose above inflation under the previous left wing Labour regime. Labour used standing charges on energy, broadband to redistribute wealth.

They may get a majority, but this will be one of the lowest turnouts. Macron won a majority on only 25% turnout. Which is ridiculous.
