- I upgraded/modded the bridge of my cheap Fender Squier Stratocaster for only 18€. This tremolo bridge is called Classic Series from Wilkinson. It worked well and added a bit of resonance to my Strat :).

Pasensya na po 😅. I will try to make an update video on it but to be honest 8/10 Ang tuning stability nya pag tinodo mo Yung trem. In my theory Yung saddles dahilan Kung bakit ganun Kasi wala syang grooves. Pero for moderate use Lang 10/10 padin. Salamat bro ! 🙏🏽😇

Hey Steve 👋🏽. I'm not sure if a Squier Classic Vibe 50's strat has the same dimensions with all the strats Squier has produced. I would say it's worth a try. The tuning stability of my strat improved because of this bridge. 👍🏽
Wilkinson M Series tremolo will fit a Squier or Fender Mexico strat. The other direct drop in is a Fender Mexican Stratocaster bridge. Both are about the same price. I think the Wilkinson block is a little nicer and they also have an upgrade brass block if you want something more dense.

No it's still tight. 😁👍🏽 I really recommend this.
Great demo. Although it's still narrow nut width neck. Can't change that issue. Why I don't buy Squires, cuz the necks are for kid hands.
Warmoth makes a 1 7/8" wide nut replacement neck for a Strat that would fit Squier... I'm replacing my Squier Contemporary neck right now. The original 1.65 nut is ridiculous.......

Ok, my review on this tremolo so far. The stem of the tremolo arm that go's into the block is not long enough and it will hit the volume knob of my Strat. Putting something into the receiving trem block hole in order to raise the bar a little to cure this issue is not an option as for some reason the grub screw doesn't wan't to clamp the arm enough anymore. I should mention that I bought the optional longer sustain block (40 mm long) but it was impossible to remove the shorter original block from the tremolo base plate because the hex machine screws are extremely tightened by the factory and now ALL 3 screws heads are totally damaged (these screws are very soft material). Tomorrow I planning to visit a machine shop here and I hope they can extract these screws so I can swap the short block for the longer as the tremolo springs rub the trem cavity at this moment when I dump the tremolo with the arm

Does the tremelo fit squier affinity strata? Their bodies are thinner than Mexican fenders and most blocks stick out. Is your squier an affinity?

The first owner changed the stock tuner but I'm not sure what brand is this.
@@ammarnaeb I have on order a squire Stratocaster upgrade kit from stumac. It's USA based and a bit expensive of course but they seem to match the 10 mm holes that I have on my affinity. Hopefully that helps. There is a video explaining how to widen the holes if necessary. Brand is gotoh magnum staggered posts.
