It's a shame really. Cher has clearly matured and Sorry I'm Late was easily one of the best pop albums of last year. But the staggered success of her in the UK and US made the gap between her first and second album too long and she kind of faded into obscurity :(. Not to mention, Syco/Epic chose all the wrong singles to prelude the album. Personally, it should have gone Bind Your Love (with rapper remix) -> Killin It (with rapper remix) -> Alone with Me, and perhaps Just Be Mine in there too! SO many strong songs on the album, this one being my favourite. I just love the album so much like it hasn't been given justice!

When I first watched this video, I was 13 years old, I didn't know any English words, I didn't understand this song, but I cried. I am now 19 years old, still bad in English and still do not understand this song and still cry.
Her album deserves a lot more attention then it is getting. The production, singing, melodies, etc. are so much better than the top selling pop albums this year!

What do you mean "she"? She doesn't write these things. The song is written by Rami Yacoub, Carl Falk, Savan Kotecha and Shellback. Shellback who also wrote "I wish", "With Ur Love", "Want U Back" etc...

Rien que d'écouter ça, je ressens que Cher a grandit. Elle n'est plus la jeune fille dont je suis tombée amoureuse à X-Factor. Elle a murit, et la voir évoluer à ce point ça me fait bizarre. Elle est incroyable, je sais pas comment le dire autrement. Je l'aime encore plus, je suis encore plus fière de dire que je suis Brat. Elle m'a tellement manqué, pendant cette période où elle ne faisait pas parler d'elle... Son retour avec des démos aussi belles, c'est juste fantastique. Elle mérite tout ce qui lui arrive, même plus. Elle est talentueuse, fabuleuse, et je sais désormais que je serais fan d'elle jusqu'à la fin.

I recently grew out of upbeat songs because many of the shit on radio these days are meaningless or are artists singing about things they can't truly relate to. Cher just got me into her album, there are some fun songs but the meaningful ones make me proud to be a fan.
