  • Castles n' Coasters is the largest amusement park in all of Arizona, but is also a small plot of land crammed into the corner of a mall complex. Still, the amount of rides they are able to cram into the small amount of space, including one of the weirdest looping coasters in existence, is very impressive. Grab yourself some Waffles n' Stuff and see what this quirky little park has to offer!
This is So Many Parks, So Little Time; a series where I document the many amusement parks I stop by this summer. Join me for some fun times, some great people, and of course the coasters. New videos every Tuesday.

I squeezed this in during a layover and I wish I had more time to get extra rerides on Desert Storm. I loved how weird and forceful it was.

I would have loved more rerides too if it weren't for the crowds (and at one point it was stopped on the lift for a while because there was a loud metal banging as it left the station). The ride feels so hammered into shape, and it's amazing how well that works to the ride's advantage.

Update 2024 Glendale/Phoenix is getting a big amusement park. Mattel is sponsoring it.

If you hate lines, this is the place to go.
I visit this park when I see my grandparents in Surprise.

Funnily enough, I went on a beautiful Saturday during spring break and baseball season, and the park was very busy. But other than the log flume, I was able to ride everything I wanted to and had a good time. Definitely will be back in the area for Mattel, and I’d be interested in giving Castles n Coasters a revisit!

Thanks a lot! And yeah, I feel like there's at least one episode per season where I have to warp someone to a theme park lol.

    Make the videos longer!

Thanks for the feedback! Next week’s video is a bit longer; if it does well then I will shoot for longer videos 😀

@@CivilianSatellite don’t worry about what people think but if anything create decent content and give people the full experience and not just info about a limited number of rides. Look at theme park world wide he shows off the entire place, not a limited experience. An hour long or more video isn’t going to hurt anything except provide a fuller experience.

@@Leo-Lion In the short term at least, I had been aiming at keeping the video durations around 10-15 minutes. I'd been thinking about doing away with that limitation anyway, so that'd be easy moving forward. As for creating a more fuller park experience, that will probably take some time. I don't always have my camera out when I'm enjoying the park like TPWW does, but I'll play around with having it out more in future park visits. It'll take some getting used to, but I'll work at it and longer videos should become a natural byproduct over time.

It's surprisingly loud for a fairly small coaster, haha!

When I went to Walmart that thing is loud. Sounded like a thrilling coaster.

Glad you had a good ride! Hopkins coasters have a knack for looking and sounding like they were MacGyvered together only to turn out surprisingly fun.

I was surprised by the drop tower because it lifted me out of my seat. And the drop was fast.

This is our home park, it really a good park and has some great pinball machines too. I have never seen that many people there. My daughter and i have had season passes for several years!!

Yeah, I had picked a bad week to go to the park, it was at the height of both spring break and baseball season, so lesson learned lol. It's a fun place, I just wish they had more space to expand. I'll have to check out the pinball machines whenever I return!
