Brian Page! I have watched a lot of videos how to build the Glacier Gravel Co. Your video is the best hands down! Watched it over and over again so I could build mine. in HO. You are a first- rate teacher! It will make a great addition to my steel mill for my new slag dump. Thanks Dave Stout
You gotta love Walthers kits. N scale kits are even more fun. May the force be with you. Lol. Really enjoyed watching and looking forward to your next installment. Thanks for sharing.....Wilmer
hi Brian... i just finished this kit...i will say you are more daring than me ....i did not do my conveyors...great start../the rest of the kit is easy peasy... vinny
Thanks Vinny, I'm glad I watched your video before I started. I hope you don't mind, I put a link to your Amazon site in my description. Glad I picked up the gluing jig, that is a handy piece of equipment.
See maybe a little tough but it all worked out following instructions. Believe it or not just the thin film that runs off that glue brush really is enough. Off to a real nice start.
Hi Steve, yeah, it's all working out, but there are things missing in the instructions. Thought it would be fun to actually build this by the instructions, because other people have done videos where they assembled the kit their own way. The real problem with the Walthers instructions is the printing is so bad, it's tough to see some of the details in the drawings.
Painter's tape (masking tape) is your additional pair of hands. Or even two pair of hands. It holds pieces together for gluing better than just about anything else. The fit can be tweaked more easily than by using anything else.
Good start my Friend... im surprised Walthers didnt tell you to build 2 L shaped sides (one top one side, one bottom one side) then glue them together. You got it working. That metal box and magnet kit is next on my list. I also want to get one of those over sided cutting mats you have. Mine is too small. (Shh i didnt say that)..
"The brown bottle is the most important tool to build a Walther's kit." Thanks Brian, I'll have to keep looking for that tool. They keep getting emptied, ha!

Wow, thanks David! I'm glad it helped.
Great video thanks for the step by step and with a smile aswell. Look forward to building my own soon
Thanks for watching!
I love your intros. Great chuckles! I built this kit many years ago. It’s still one of my favorites on my layout.
I'm really looking forward to getting it done - Thanks, Randy!
welcome to the world of Walthers. It dont get any better
Amen to that!
Walthers in N scale what a challenge. Looks like you're up for the task.
Thanks JD, I'm tryin'!

Thanks Uncle Wilmer, I need all the help I can get!
Very nice start to the structure build. I enjoy your humor also. Keep the funny informative videos coming.
Thanks SantaFe Bob! I'll do my best.

I'm going to try to keep it shorter than that, Dave, we'll see.
Great job honey and I'm looking forward to your next video. 💕
Thanks sweetie - Love you!
Love you too
Hiya Brian, this was really good to watch my friend, very enjoyable, Walthers kits are good and well known for their instructions ha ha
Thanks Digger, it's a fun little project. Part 2 today hopefully.
You got that done and they look good, now on to the next step and maybe bigger pieces we hope. I know you can do it and thanks for sharing, David
I think those were the most fiddly parts (I hope).
All of the little parts make me glad I model in HO scale. I just cant see the small pieces. Great video.
Yeah, the N scale parts are small, I have to use my reading glasses to see them.
Great stuff, Brian. I just started building models again after over 19 months off. Cheers to you!
Thanks Anthony! I was used to building plastic model airplanes, etc., but then I cam down with the railroading bug again.
Liked the opening music
Thanks Dale - Just a little "Muffin Man" out of RUclips's collection!

Off to a good start…brown bottle and all 😊
Yeah Anthony, I can't help it, Walthers kits drive me to drink...

That's good advice, thanks Bob!
Looks good, not easy by the looks of it
Hopefully those were the hardest part!

Thanks Rick! Yeah, didn't get too far, but that was amazingly time consuming.

Amen to that. This kit may take a 12 pack, not sure yet!
Good video
Thanks, Lee!
As I recall, the parts you just completed were indeed the most difficult part of constructing the kit.
That's good to hear - I just want to get on to the bigger parts!
nice build is it going to take as long as heath lol
Thank Dwight! Hopefully I can finish this by Part 4!
And don't forget and scale most important cool to have is your glasses
N scale
In the words of Joe Biden come on man no jokes do a good video
