Hello, just found your channel...very helpful...I'm in the interview progress for a staff adjuster with working a territory with the possibility of a company car.
That’s awesome! I wish you all the best. You will find the company car is a great perk. You can use it for personal use and they should supply you with a gas card. If you think about it this will be be saving you money that would otherwise being going for a car note or gas. This will give you an opportunity to save or pay down credit card bills. This is your time to shine! God bless!
Great video. They say training but I either get no reply or the one that did said I didn’t meet requirements. These were trainee positions but apparently you need experience 😂🤷🏽♀️
Hello, I am a new subscriber. Thanks for this information. I don't know if I miss it, but could you list the agencies that are looking for staff adjusters.
Great video. Im interested in staff adjuster. Im moving to another Mexico, and I’d like to know if I could remote from Mexico. Thank you so much for the video ❤
Hello! If you get hired as a remote adjuster, all you need is there internet to do your job. So it is possible. I always tell people to apply for any remote job in any state. I would just check with the company that hires you!
I just attended a 10 day training at Mocat Adjuster School in Missouri. I got Level 1 certified in Xactimate there and it was definitely a good course overall. I ended up going staff. I start with State Farm (WCCS Delpoyed) on 3/13. I’m hella excited about it. State Farm actually pays for just about every state’s licensing thru their employee portal, so you save a lot of time and money to get as many as possible while you work for them. I want to get every license I can thru them, and stack my bread until storm season in ‘24. I’ll have a year of viable desk/field experience, and more state licenses than the average adjuster by then. Plenty of independent firms would take me on at that point if I choose to go that route. Or I might end up liking it at Big Red and stay…..🤷🏿♂️ I’ve seen several ppl go independent out the gate as well and do great.
I have an interview with State Farm next week. I'm interviewing for hybrid claim associate, just to get my feet in the door. But what I really want is desk adjuster. I just got my adjusters license three weeks ago so I don't have any experience. I think in my interview next week I'll let the interviewer that I have my adjusters license and I want to train for a desk adjuster position as soon as I can. They don't have any desk claim positions in their job site.
@@padussia The interview won’t be bad. Even if you don’t have claims experience, they just want to hear about similar job duties in your previous line of work. I’m almost at the end of my second week and I really like it so far. Good luck! If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
@@JoNathan-mh8pg Thank you so much for responding. I'm supposed to be working remotely. I hope she considers me and bring me on as an adjuster trainee. How do you like adjusting? And does it pay well?
Great information, thanks. Trying to go into the profession but don’t have any experience for now, am done with my 40hours course but yet to take my license exam. Need deployment so get some experience, think you can be of great assistance. Will be expecting your response, thanks.
I would recommend starting with a insurance firm to get that experience as if you start as an independent on a deployment they expect you to already have experience or get experienced on your own
You mentioned that some firms will offer to sponsor you for the pre-licensing course…do you happen to know any that are currently offering? Did you go through a company that paid for your training?
Usually the insurance company that hires you will ask if you have your license and if you don’t they will pay for your class. I know for sure Farmers will and National General. I’m not sure who else but if they hire you knowing you don’t have a license that means they will help you.
I didn’t take a class on my own. The company I started with had a class for us. I would do an internet search on prices as they should all be about the same and geared towards you passing.
Hello . I have no experience but definitely interested in obtaining my license to become an independent adjuster but prefer to work from home. Any tips would be appreciated :)
I would suggest applying for a claims examiner remote position. If it is remote you can live anywhere even if the job is based out of a different state.
I have my license (Georgia) and have put in applications for staff adjuster for a number of companies with zero luck. They want 2 year or more experience.
👋 thanks for watching, I would suggest starting as a desk examiner for an insurance firm to get started and gain training and to get your license! Those jobs are usually remote work from home as well. Check Indeed!
Is it hard to get a staff adjuster position with no prior experience ? I have my bachelors and I’m currently a case planner. I’m looking to leave and start applying to claims jobs within the next few months
Good afternoon! Do you have a way to be contacted with further questions? I'm in the DFW area and recently obtained my adjuster license and completed the Xactimate training. I'm opened to desk or field adjusting, but would have to get practice with going up on roofs due to fear of heights (I want to overcome that fear)...... Trying to think of ways to get over by maybe indoor rock climbing, reaching out to a ladder assist company for "shadowing" , etc. Do you have any recommendations?

Once a deployment comes up they send out something like a mass text asking if you are available. Depending on the type of deployment will depend also on who gets the text meaning if you only signed up for property then you will not get a text for an auto position. They usually reach out to the more experienced first then it trickles down. Sometimes newbies get lucky with at home positions with little to none experience especially if the more experienced people are turning down the jobs. Hope this helps.
